  1. Hey man on Japan Imposes "Fine On Fat" · · Score: 1

Quit hating on the sumo wrestlers!

  2. Re:I finally understood it on RIAA Wants $1.5 Million Per CD Copied · · Score: 1

Wow, I couldn't have said it any better myself.

  3. iTouch iPods.... on How the iPod Touch Works · · Score: 1

...are a wonderful breakthrough in technology, with the exception of its mediocre 8GB storage capacity. Who's music collection is actually under 8 gigs? Not mine and probably not yours either. I am more interested in the 120GB "Classic" model because of the iTouch iPods limited storage capacity. It's not just innovations in interface design that are going to win me over. Anyone else agree?

"Just look at what you Christians cherish -- pity, guilt, sin -- not to mention guilt through inheritance, which no rational society anymore recognizes."

I believe that you are referring to Catholicism and not Christianity. Catholics are the ones who are self hating, not Christians.

We get computers all the time that come in the shop with this problem. Our solution is a repair install with a purchased key.

  6. I don't know if anyone noticed but.... on Games For the 360's Japanese Comeback · · Score: 0

....The Xbox and the Xbox 360 aren't Japanese consoles. Maybe its Japan's way of boycotting US consoles. If it doesn't say 'SONY' or 'Nintendo' on it, they aren't buying it.

    Just a thought

  7. Changing the rating on More Oblivion Re-Rating Fallout · · Score: 2, Interesting

I would figure that the more violent a game was, the higher the rating would be on the game (mature, etc.) I thought violence was worse than a naked body of a woman. What truly is the worst evil? Violence or Naked Women? I think that the ESRB needs to get their priorities straight.

  8. Mass Conformity on Rockstar's Next Game Draws Protesters · · Score: 1

When I first heard about this, I was actually shocked. The thing that bothered me was that I am 27 years old and I couldn't even rent the game. They always have to put the blame on someone when it comes to anything that gets national attention. This reminds me of the whole '2 Live Crew' issue with their album 'Nasty As They Wanna Be'. I remember that there were people protesting '2 Live Crew' and parents' making a big issue along with womens' rights groups saying how degrading their music was. Well then don't buy the music if you don't like it. We do have a choice. So what I say to parents all across america is that the REAL issue is you haven't been paying attention to the kind of content of your children's entertainment. If you don't want your children playing 'ultra-violent' video games, then don't buy them and pay more attention at the game store when you go to purchase them. Now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon on hating Rockstar. Just like how Quake and DOOM got all that attention after the Columbine shooting. Its just too bad that a video game company has to be the scapegoat now.

Remember when the music industry tried to implement the 'Explicit Lyrics' sticker to rate the content of music? Well Basically you had to be 18 or older to buy any music with this label. Unfortunately (for the music rating system) I think I was only turned down once for buying music prior to my 18th bday. My point is that this doesn't suprise me at all about another ratings system not working properly.

  9. ending of tetris on Tetris Is Hard: NP-Hard · · Score: 0

I don't think that tetris ever ends until you screw up. I remember playing tetris on my game boy when I was 13. I averaged around 250 lines before I would lose and my mother got anywhere from 300-500 lines until she would screw up.

I also remember playing a 3D tetris game on the pc about 12 years ago. It was alot more difficult that the normal 2d tetris , but to me it was a bugger challenge.

  13. X turns 10 on XFree86 10 Years Old · · Score: 1

  14. Re:MS mice on Non-Apple Buttonless Mouse · · Score: 2, Interesting

I would have to disagree due to the fact that I've previously owned an MS Intellimouse Optical. As far as playing q3a went, the mouse jumped here and there, especially annoying when trying to frag. The funny thing was that I always kept my mouse drivers up to date and I still continued to have this problem with the MS Intellimouse Optical. Thats when I decided to trash the MS mouse and go for a Logitech Dual Optical. Now this Dual Optical mouse is the ideal mouse for any of you FPS fans, since if one laser fails to track, the other laser picks up where the other one stopped tracking. I personally like Logitech's Dual Optical as far as optical mice are concerned. And As far as the smooth surfaces go, the Logitech is also alot smoother, and also seems to be more ergonomically correct for my hand. But I guess it all really boils down to personal preference, so get whatever floats your boat!

iMacs are for idiots who can't figure out PCs. I'm sorry if i offended any of you die hard Apple fans, but Apple sucks and so does Bill Gates so WTF? In my prior post about putting linux on iMacs, that would be the only improvement that I could see fit. Yes I have used Linux, no I'm not an elite hacker as you yourself think you are. I always value someone who posts false accusations anonymously. What a brave soul you are.

  17. This crApple Crap on Steve Jobs And The Oh-So-Cool iMac · · Score: 0, Flamebait

I'm tired of all of this hoopla about Apple and Steve Jobs. I'm also tired of seeing apples in every movie that I see , like everyone really uses apples or something. Steve Jobs should do the world a favor and either kill himself or start selling icraps or crapples with linux on them.

  18. Re:Criminals! on DOJ Already Monitoring Cable Internet Traffic · · Score: 2, Insightful

I would have to agree entirely on this one. Why is the government really monitoring net traffic anyways? Is it to actually persue criminal activity, or is it just another excuse to try and justify our privacy being invaded. Why doesn't the government spend more time and effort catching the REAL criminals? Not that there isn't any criminals on the net, but I think the government needs to get their priorites straight.

Monitor my usage all you want, the simple fact is you are wasting valuable time that you could've been spending persueing the criminals on the street.
