Because I have a stable operating system, build tools, applications, and even a few games that I have been using for years that I do not have to pay a large corporation for. How much would I have had to pay microsoft or apple for twenty years of software?
I have been using a Ricoh AP2600N for about the last 8 years. Got it because it was able to pull 35 pound stock. Works w/ Linux & Apple. Still using it today.
That is quite a leap to go from nanny state to supporting drunk drivers. You have an amazing knee-jerk imagination.
I am saying that I oppose pulling over sober drivers and stripping them of their rights just because you have a badge and gun. Just because someone is driving on a particular road does not give police the right to pull them over and test their sobriety. The person should either be driving in an impaired or reckless manner, someone been observed drinking in the vehicle or been observed leaving a place serving alcohol.
in the U.S. that you must first incorporate and go after the peoples money. Never commit a crime against the government or against a corporation unless you want the full weight of the law brought down on your head.
I get 6 to 8 phone books a year from different local and long distance companies. The free compost is nice but it seems to be a rather wasteful way to deliver it.
a bill to make our food taste awful. Let us just take a look at how this can help. Just think of all the money people will save by not going out to eat because the food tastes like shite. Of course if people stop going out to eat then restaurants will have to lay off workers or even go out of business. Those people that are now out of jobs can save what little money they get on unemployment by not going out to eat - at least for a few months until their unemployment runs out and they lose their homes. More lost jobs because some shite for brains politician knows nothing and wants to get his name in the paper.
Instead of cutting salt out of their diets people could get healthier by getting more exercise - like kicking politicians in the ass when they have stupid ideas.
...Americans that can afford it just go to Brazil or India or Israel or ??? for a "medical vacation" and come back with dollars spent in other countries. Everything that is regulated out of ignorance and/or greed is still available - the drug companies are multi-nationals that are just getting paid in a different currency. Or, maybe I am just too cynical.
They will just use wear levelling and relocate data out of flash blocks that are underperforming or that have ECC corrections. Just because they report 640GB my guess is that they will actually have 15% to 25% additional flash to handle early failures without having to start reducing the reported capacity.
...stop grass roots organizations/coalitions from getting out their messages about preferred candidates. Having a free, high volume, communications medium makes it impossible for media corporations to control the dissemination of their desired content. (Desired == paid for by their customers.)
Yeah, I know it sounds a bit like tin-foil hat speak, but if you think about how corporations have taken control of all other mass-communications mediums (newspapers, telegraphs, telephones, radio, and television) over the years; why do you think that any part of the Internet will be left available for the consumer to provide essentially free content?
When you find a camera installed tell all of your friends. Have different people walk by looking and acting suspicious. Maybe put up a google map site with all of the camera locations identified.

Sounds like a nice start to a science fiction novel.

several times a day reduces risk of cancer? :-)
If the government can put a GPS tracker on a citizen car without a warrant, then a citizen should be able to put a GPS tracker on a government car. ;-)
Because someone was driving through town without drinking and did not break the law?
Why force someone to take a test, that has been proven to have false positives, if they have done nothing wrong?

I hate the nanny state.

A few hundred thousand in political donations from drone manufacturers is all it will take to get it done.

that put out incomplete and/or incorrect information.
It is called a gasoline tax. The more gasoline you use the more tax you pay. The lighter vehicles that use less gas also damage the roads less.

I am either collaborating with someone and we are both using .odf, or I am sending them a document to read in which case they get a .pdf.
