IMHO, an even better way is to pick a pattern on your keyboard and alternate your shift key. If you look at this password: o0i9u8&TR% it may look impossible to remember, but if you were to actually type it, it becomes surpisingly simple to remember. Once you know it, it is even difficult to tell someone your password, but easy as hell to remember when typing on a keyboard - just remember the pattern.
"My solution to a bios password" No mention of the target machine being a "server that I want to be able to reboot on it's own" -
Of course if you put it that way...... it still wouldn't matter because you are talking about a bios password. You can protect boot up or just setting with a bios password, depending on your bios, but by no means can doing anything to the harddrive help you with either....
I am missing something - I guess you can get access to a target machine's data by using this method, but can't imagine how this will help with a bios password ~shrugs~ unless you aren't interested in changing the password, and only the data - but you mention changing the password in step 5. Which password would that be?

Shit, man. If they knew about the flare on Friday, how come somebody didn't say something, oh, Saturday or something?
Because the same people that report to Bush about planes in the DC air space are responsible for reporting these events to the American People...
The problem I have is the method to combat it. As I said, you can not kill all of your enemies. Nazis and the KKK still exist. Potential enemies do not exist only once you are the only one left.
We should have strengthen the resolve with the rest of the world, isolating our enemy. Instead, we have isolated ourselves and gained more enemies. Our oldest allies consider us arrogant and dispise us - how is this possible? We are the ones that lost 3000+.
The policy is flawed. If we even took the time to try to understand or even went through the motions within the world community instead of saying "ok, 19 guys, 13 were Saudi's - lets attack iraq - what? They're cooperating with the inspectors? Attack them anyway. What? The rest of the world sees this as stupid? Well, you're either with us or against us!"
Come on, no matter your desire for revenge, no matter your hatred for an enemy - if you just kill a swath of people (btw , over 100000 civilians in iraq during the first year), but not your enemy - what have you accomplished? What threat have you reduced? Have you not just created more enemies?
All of that aside, do you really think that recent U.S. involvement has made matters worse for the Palestinians? Think about peace talks from the past 20 years. Think about the Israeli army, and what they could do if their intentions really were malevolent.
Actually, I believe that Osama achieved his goals by the recent developments in Palestine. Even before arafat died, the sudden attention on the region made it less easy for the US to have unmeasured support for Israel and the Zionist agenda. I believe real change has begun in that area. Sharon is actually talking sense with the settlement pullouts - even if he does keep delaying them. This is NOT due to the events in Iraq, it is inspite of it.
- Of course *justice* must be exacted for those that died. There must also be steps to prevent it from happening again.
Hunt down and kill Osama - everyone could understand that. Do everything to break up his organization. But also take the time to understand what makes them want us dead.
If you can understand why they want us dead, you can address it and remove that desire. If you kill more of the people that already want us dead, you will only strengthen their resolve and deepen their hatred. You cannot kill all of your enemies, violence is the tool of the inarticulate - which explains why Bush is so for it.
Don't take my words out of context, I said " In his own words, to gain attention to the death America and the west is responsible for in the middle east."
Nothing specific, I was just pointing out ONE incident. Yes, another [and perhaps the main] of his issues was with the Saudi Regime which is why he loaded the plane with Saudi's in hopes we'd seek reprisal against them. He often mentions the plight of the palestinian people in the same context as he mentions contempt for the Saudi Royal family.
Come on. Iraq is high profile, but if you want to look at things that the government is doing wrong, there are much more ethically clear-cut things than this.
Right you are - like displacing millions of Palestinians to make way for Israel.
Worst.Mistake.Ever.
Thanks to the colonizing British and the foresight impaired judgement of Truman. Nothing like killing thousands and making millions homeless to piss a people off.
Yes, the holocaust was likely one of the most tragic events ever. Yes, the displaced jews needed a place to go after WW11. No, Zionism was/is never the answer and now we see the results. Why did Osama send his henchmen? In his own words, to gain attention to the death America and the west is responsible for in the middle east. I'm a proud American Veteran of the first Gulf War, and I by no means condone any slaughter, but I CAN understand the motivation. If only Bush understood that by killing more we are only fanning the flames.
If only Republicans could accept critism instead of the policy of: "Deny everything, accuse your accuser". Why wasn't the reaction to 911 "Why are these people so pissed?" instead of "Oh yeah? well we'll kill all ya'll - U.S.A U.S.A U.S.A U.S.A U.S.A!!
Evolution works, that's why our brains evolved the ability to design tools to hunt prey - much like an ape uses a stick to retreive termites from termite mounds - should they not be eating termites? In addition our brains would not have evolved to the point that they have without eating meat. Most meat you must hunt. We are born hunters AND gatherers.
You are missing one thing, while you couldn't be an officer without a degree, you could infact be a "Sarge" and have a degree. You would then only need to go to OCS to get promoted.
Along your line of hardware and services, the oems work for them [thus they do not need their own hardware division], and they do [or have a "partner" that does] all of the consulting/services you could ask for - with one caveat, you must buy their products.
You are forgetting a couple of things. While your arguments are indeed valid, MS will continue to exist due to their insulation from the Karmic Wheel by HUGE PILES OF CASH. So, even if everyone said "fuck MS, I will not give them another dime, I'm moving to Linux" MS will dump a small portion of their HUGE PILE of cash into something that will generate revenue. Even if they did nothing viable, it would take a long time time to deplete their cash stash. I believe they would even make a MS/Linux before we saw their demise. If MS got into the linux game, I believe it *could* hurt many of the distros out now. Could you imagine a linux kernel wrapped in ms proprietary bs? Then they would have most of the advantages of linux [aside from being open] and the advantages of windows [manufacturer support]. Yeah, it would hurt at first [kinda like a skinned knee] but they could get right back into the game. They may be taked down a few pegs, but you are NOT going see MS die anytime soon.
It ISN'T about hating Christians, it is disapproving of actions of those that would inflict THEIR world view - "How things should be" on others. I am absolutely cool with anyone of any religion even though I disagree with the very concept of organized religion. This is simply because MY view is just another view and just as valid.
Any public policy should be unbiased in all ways including religion or you affect the freedoms of those that believe otherwise. Good policy is devoid of any influence except those of the public. Some of the public is gay and wants to marry another gay person, some are Christians and feel homosexualality is a sin - and most of the public just simply doesn't care as long as you don't mess with them.
Christians like to do things that are ONLY rational if you believe in their religion.
If I told you that religion is bullshit. The bible is just mothergoose written by unsophisticated cultists long, long ago and that we have much more plausible answers now so now it is illegal to do unnatural things like believing in a "Holy Ghost" or empty morality and I am going to ammend the constitution to reflect the removal of your right to practice Christanity - you would hate non-Christians wouldn't you?

Mercury has a decent suite: They have Quality Center: Which will help you write manual test scripts and create new test cases and do defect tracking. Quick Test Pro: Semi decent intergration into quality center so you write your test cases, then bust it out to code. You CAN just simply record a test and run it, but the lifetime of your script may vary. You need to build in tons of logic just to ensure the script can handle what it thrown at it and handle various error conditions.
Caveats: If you like open source, this is not for you. If you don't like vbscript, you may find a difficult path to using other languages. There are options, but if you have a large automation team, a common language is useful. Vbscipt is sometimes the common denominator.
If you ARE familiar with Load Runner or their performance tools, you'll love it. Even if you don't mind vbscript you may find their tool unweildy in the way it picks up objects.
All in all, probably the BEST commercial offering - simply because a monkey can use it. There are good ones in opensource if you can code, i.e. "Push To Test" if you like java.
ps: sorry there are no links, I would just google them anyway
The encoder is NOT F/OSS, (so i cannot imagine you "having any use for such a thing, especially if it is not itself F/OSS.") and if you go to the zend website to get the encoder, studio advertising is plastered everywhere. Frankly I think you're just full of shit and a little embarrassed you got called on it.
I guess being into php 5+ years you have heard of the opensource Zend engine (the PHP language parser) haven't you? If not, you are doing yourself a diservice. In fact, it is improbable that you have not had any interaction with Zend since they are such an inherent part of PHP. To say you have never heard of Zend Studio is *almost* like a KDE user saying they've never heard of X11.
Best sig, and one of the best albumns ever.
