Typical pseudo-techie response. "Just throw money at it". Most people don't want to spend more money on a service that they have already paid for, the burden of uptime should be on the provider and not on the user. Oh and let's say that you have a UPS. Is it the only device on the UPS? Probably not. Bye-bye phone when the battery dies. "Hello...EMS? Yeah, I've got chest pains and....hello....HELLO??" OMG!! I haven't serviced my UPS battery in two years and the battery life is one minute!" Read my post about cell phones, lots of people in NYC had dead cells when the WTC went down.

I really doubt that the terrorists will be flying planes into buildings anymore, there's lots of other ways to wreak havoc. If the government and airlines were really worried about security in the air then they would seal the cockpits before any passengers boarded and not open them up until the plane has landed safely. But that would require spending money. I flew back from Texas recently and realized after boarding the plane that I had showed the security person my boarding pass from the previous flight I had taken TO Texas. I'm reading the posts here and the general consensus is that not too many people liked the movie but seeing how well it did in the theater, I would bet that the DVD will set records; people will want to complete their "collection". It's really a shame because Lucas and Co. will be sitting back saying to each other "See, I told you it's a great movie. Just look at the sales!" This will cause other directors to look to Lucas's style and method to see how to create new movies which bring us a whole new crop of crap to wade through. The good directors and producers can't compete with the franchise...pity.
