I tried. If you run MAC OS X the sight kicks you out saying sorry only for windows and wma format. Time for online music stores to stop talking trash and announcing BS
So Microsoft can't even distribute their own keys properly, and they go about telling evryone that WGA can be trusted and is accurate detecting pirate copies. yeah right...
The anti virus companies have made tons of money off of Microsoft insecurties.
Now that there's a chance all those holes might go away, they will fight tooth and nail to prevent that from happening. I'm no Microsoft fan but these companies whining about Microsoft using their monopoly position to shut them out of the market, are in conflict of interest.
Just cause your server has no gui, doesn't mean you have to slog through iptables entries. That's what your workstation is for. Anyways, you shouldn't be on your server building things and trying stuff out you'll break something for sure that way.
But really, regardless which technology you use are you sure you'll still be able to easily read the media 5,10,15 years from now? The bottom line I think, is if the data is valuable, then back it up and re-back it up using whichever modern media format is available at the time. What good is the media if you can't find a device to read it?
I don't see your point. They have to maintain their lines regardless. They wouldn't lose any money on this deal anyways. I mean, all they have to do is resell the bandwidth, the ISP is the one that picks up the tab for all the end user support. Without all those front office expenses (phone support, customer relations, technicians,...), it's all gravy for them.
Well I won't argue your point on the Academie. They would quickly become irrelevant if they weren't quick to translate popular terms and words. Over here in quebec we have l'Office de la langue français (same idea as the Academie).
Agreed, some translations work out better than others. We've been using courriel in quebec here for years. It sounded funny at first here too, but it caught on and it's natural.
Here's another good term that's catching on here more and more...
SPAM == pourriel (all though l'Office is recommending polluriel)
you can bet I'd be trying to pull the nose of the plane up as we went down.
Whats long and pointy and hangs between Bush's legs?
Harper's tie...

Nothing new here, just buisness as usual.

So I'm not really all that surprised with those figures. What about all the cell phones and other handheld devices?
Similar to signing your mail with gpg no?
Friends will help you move, but real friends, will help you move a body. (;
Don't let root login via ssh and use key exchange for autentication. Who needs another secret handshake?

What do you think the sit up berth is for?
No they don't. Sun makes money selling hardware.
Well my guess is what with all the lawyer's fees, money is so tight they could only afford one linux license...
Heh maybe some kind of a mood ring or something that changes hue according to network traffic.
