If this is for North Korea, I am not at all surprised, being a communist country and all. South Korea, and I am only midly surprised. Either way, I am sure that they are tired of their fellow countrymen acting like a bunch of stupid white eyed Americans:-P
I was referring to unrequested code being run on computers on my network. Fizzer_bad and Fizzer_good should not be there. And there is no verification that Fizzer_good is actually that. Sounds like the perfect way to launch spyware with everyone saying "thank you, may I have another."
If that ain't the sweetest darn thing I ever have seen! It was very impressive, to me, especially the graphics, although on the copy I saw it was rather hard to tell the difference between in-game and FMV. Maybe that just shows how good it is.
I said the same thing about Metroid for the GameCube. In the next year, that should become the standard expectation.
And it has lots of plasma explosions, and those look cool. So it can't fail.
lol. It can't fail for other reasons, namingly a lack of good quality interesting games for the XBOX.
Alot of gee-whiz factor CG stuff... that did not really help with the story.
Most of the scenes (fight, chase, and the French speaking fellow) felt too long.
2 yr old Ducati's were funny... but nobody then knew what the new ones would look like.
Too many rehashed powers (Neo) from the first movie. Superman arm gestures (in flight) after the guy mentions in the beginning that Neo is doing his "Superman thing again" was lame.
Some parts of the big Mr. Smith (no longer an agent) fight scene were of poor CG quality. At one point Neo did not appear to have any texture on his face or requisite black trenchcoat.
Jada Pinkett Smith is a hottie of extreme magnitude.
Keanu Reeves was his usual stoned surfer 'whoa' self. Enlightenment does not come easy to this one.
Laurence Fishburne big speach was underwhelming.
Carrie-Anne Moss seemed apathetic most of the time.
Hugo Weaving does much with very little, again.
Gloria Foster was amazing. She seemed to delight in the psuedo philosophical speech paterns, unlike Keanu.
The twins were a let down.
Conclusion:
If you are not expecting much beyond CG and lots of fight scenes, with a smattering of near non-sensical philosophy, you may still be disappointed.
ok... the generally accepted number scheme of anything UNIX related is as follows:
The numbering scheme is relatively simple, and is in the format of three numbers separated by dots. The first number is the "major" revision number. The second is the "minor" revision number. And finally, the third is the "patch level" number.
Taken from WindowMaker FAQ 1.11...

OS X 10.2.6 is actually redunant. OS X.2.6 or OS 10.2.6 is correct. After all, it's not pronounced OS 'ecks' but OS 'ten' if you want to get anal about it.
But you knew that... right?
Think about it... OS X/10 is the major revision, the giant leap from OS 9. 10.1 was the minor update to 10.0.x series. 10.1.1 > 10.1.2 etc were patches (not always sercurity related, but sometimes). Same for 10.2, it was just a small update to 10.1.5 except for the fact that it cost $129(US). 10.2.1 was a patch. same for 10.2.2 and 10.2.3 and 10.2.4 and 10.2.5 and 10.2.6
If 10.1.5 to 10.2 was such a major jump, it would have garnered more than a minor revision number. Minor revision numbers amount to service packs when translating Unix style to Windows style.
Service Packs from Microsoft being free? Yes. 10.1.5 to 10.2 upgrade free? No, it was $129. 10.2 was a service pack in my opinion... 10.1 series to 10.2 series. Just as 10.3 will be; only qusstion is how much will it bleed the Mac faithful of?
Replace MP3 player with notebook computer for your average business traveler.
All I need is notebook and a phone. Notebook has much better contact capabilities than a pda, can play mp3 files (headphones even). If I make a new contact, I am already using the notebook for a presentation of something.
The problem with pda's is that other terchnologies are making them redundant.
I am of the old school philosophy that thinks "use the right tool for the job." A pda has never felt like the right tool (sync and update with PC software using keyboard mouse due to faster input speeds by the user) to me. People are realizing that the pda is the least used, the most difficult to keep updated (cell phone is obviously the easiest), and expensive to buy. IMO, YMMV of course.
Did I ask about forged headers? No. Not all spam is just forged headers. Some people send out spiders to get real email addresses, and then send from account that is burned later.
Nelson's antispam bill would outlaw transmitting high-volume unsolicited electronic mail from both interstate and foreign sources if they contain false, misleading or deceptive routing information, or forged e-mail addresses.
Please define high-volume. What is the minimum? Will it be lowered as the big guns are taken out? Who decides it's spam and not "legitimate" email? Florida does not have the best reputation for keeping track of things...
Increasing understanding is more important than money.
You mean like cancer, or AIDS, or how many other deadly diseases. Funding for research is always a issue. How about we have a better understanding of ourselves, and how we work, before we pollute the solar system?
However, if the shuttle was cancelled the money would just be pissed away on politicians perks and pointless wars, so we should fight tooth and nail to keep it.
I assume you have proof (besides X-Files plots)?
Why not become a powerfull political figure and do your best to fix this broken system of ours? WBM is a right, but so is action.
I believe the AC was trying to poke fun at Microsoft for moving away from command line while at the same time Apple is moving towards it. Compare Windows 98 to XP and OS 9 to OS X.
The point is, the data is mine, and if I don't involve outside parties in helping me to keep it synched, the likelyhood of it staying mine is much higher.

Why not advocate choosing the best possible package? Who cares if it is open / closed / hybrid source, as long as it functions properly?

2 wrongs != right
It is up to the user to fix this stuff, not some IRC dork that wants to prove his/her mad skillz to the world.
Kawasaki Z1000 in black...
or
Benelli Tornado Tre 900 in silver/green.
I have to agree the 2003 999 Ducati is horrid.

2 out of 5 stars.
You ignorance, and lack of reading skills, is amazing.
I guess 10.1 is the major number... cuz we know the difference from 9.x to 10.0 was minimal at best.
Idiot Mac zealot fucktard piece of shit.
Needless to say, this does not help Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing initiative.
Why is that exactly? PR versus good code writing go hand in hand now?
must.... stop.... drooling....

SP1 / 2 / 3 is all free. That is what 10.1.5 > 10.2 amounted to...

Pretty soon we should start seeing "Tax Free Computers shipped direct from Taiwan" in our email inboxes.
Why not punish those those citizens that choose to litter? Tazer to the genitals seems about right in line with this new legislation ;)

I don't want to trust all my personal data to a unknown third party. .Mac is not a known party... a service that Apple pays someone to do for them.
