My point was it was the only cartoon released this past year worthy of winning an award. Disney wanted that award, having lost it last year, the first year the award was available.
I firmly believe Disney only does something for 2 reasons: money and notoriety.
this movie was made in japan, did $200+ million there, disney bought the distro right for the US, and made a whopping $5.5 million in the US.
most likely the only reason disney did that was to win the oscar. the crap they make now couldn't win, and they knew it. so what is a big corporation to do? buy a ringer of course.
Considering Ducati's of that era have absolutely horrid electrical systems, I would use a seperate battery for the charger. At some point, you will most likely use it as a spare for the bike anyhow. I can not highly recommend enough going for a gel battery, no worries about loss of fluids during accidental tip overs, no boiling off in hot weather etc.
I would like to post any pictures from your trip... www.yzedf.com
WWDC is the target audience for a OS upgrade from 10.2.x to 10.3 ->> Developers are the ones that want/need it the most anyway.
Apple should be doing things on their own schedule, not some other company's (expo). This would avoid the embarrasment of anouncing hardware for sale that they can't ship for months; which has happened for everything so far this year.
1) Know the air base where operations are started from. 2) Have a guy/gal near there. 3) Binoculars. 4) Stopwatch. 5) Radio. 6) Type of plane. 7) Average cruising speed. 8) Guess the intended target. 9) Distance to target from base/avg cruising spd = time to start shooting blindly in the air.
Burning oil wells is different than oil in the ground. The geological implications of this are bad, very bad. Just look at how much harm the region had to deal with last time Saddam did this.
Well... if a newbie programmer (less than 5 yrs experience) thinks he's worth $70k/yr but the market only supports $45k/yr then this guy only deserves $45k/yr regardless of his age or social status (married, kids, etc). Eventually, tech workers will figure out that there job is no more valuable than most other non-tech workers.
This guy is suing over something that happened over 1 year ago?
He only worked for Sun for 1-1/2 years? Sounds expendable in a sinking economy.
Hiring younger people is cheaper, and less benefits are needed/wanted.
He is in his 50's and probably finding that nobody can afford to pay him the salary "he deserves."
His idiot lawyer wants to turn this into a class action lawsuit! Someone is looking for headlines.
Indians and the H1-B sounds an awful lot like a excuse to create a crime. I am not sure, based on this article alone, that anything was done wrong by SUN.
Apple only makes money if they can satisfy most customers, most of the time. Catering to the needs of a few, all the time, is bad business.
The funny thing is, they only realise this for the services they provide (that they bought from somewhere else) and not the hardware that they provide (PPC).
That is a contract dispute between a silly old man and a smart corporation. The "profits" defined in the contract were different from the normal definition of profit. Stan Lee should have negotiated for a percentage of earnings. He also never should have sold off the rights to begin with. It has become apparent in the last 10 years or so that the only reason Stan Lee is still interested in Spider-Man again is because of its return to marketability.
What you say is true. But it is not fair to compare a P4 to a Crusoe. That's like comparing a Corvette and a Cavalier. You're talking pears vs. banana's!
Think car, not big ass truck. Most cars in other parts of the world (not the USA) have diesel variants. Kinda like VW used to do with the old Rabbit...
Owners of a Radeon 9700 PR need not worry, though. Their card has not suddenly become obsolete because of the Radeon 9800 PRO. While there is a difference between the two, it isn't a dramatic one, and certainly nowhere near enough to justify an upgrade, in our opinion.
Huh. Waste of time for the hardcore early adopters I guess.
So I am guessing that there will be a new iPod, new iTunes, and the new DL'able music service all announced (and available) together, right? A new service with better software (free update for 'older' iPod and iTunes) and new hardware to use it. That could be a winning combination that keeps Apple ahead of the posers in the hdd based mp3 player crowd.
and
Yes, if the artists actually get a cut. And then, I would only buy from the lesser known (not top40) artists.
The same goes for Windows 98...
Surveys always answer questions. Problem is they usually create more than they answer.

for a minor number revision!
"announcing windows XP SP5, the 'must buy' of the computing year!"
yeah... ok... whatever.
that don't care...
anime = cartoon

and now you understand why the Iraqi's have never shot down a F-117...
Steps to dealing with Stealth Technology(tm):
1) Know the air base where operations are started from.
2) Have a guy/gal near there.

5) Radio.
6) Type of plane.

*shrug*

It made money. And that is before video game and DVD sales.

Nothing is fully fault tolerant. Unless you believe in "God" of course ;)
Why is burning DVD's needed for a guy on the go such as myself?
I already use UNIX for the masses. It's called Mandrake.
One second - check. Mandrake does that fine.
X11 sucks. There is just no better option right now (remind you of something...)
Firewire why? I don't need it. Adds unnecessary costs, weight, and points of failure.
Please... go on.
true enough.
sadly, i don't really follow new car trends anymore. you think i would seeming as how i bought a new car june of 2001.
oops!
Dell does 802.11a/b/g for the Latitude D600. Yes, all 3 in one.
Now that Intel has good battery life (according to CNET test), what is the number one gripe for Mac zealouts? OS X might be valid... anything else?
Think car, not big ass truck. Most cars in other parts of the world (not the USA) have diesel variants. Kinda like VW used to do with the old Rabbit...
Diesel has been used in Europe quite extensively for some time now. Superior mpg, and clean emissions.
Of course, why not move up the schedule on particulate standards for big rigs, buses, garbage trucks etc. in the USA? World leaders my a$$...
People need to realize that there is no such thing as a constant when we are talking about planetary physics.
Ice age(s) anyone?

Inspiron 1100.
Dell does have more than 1 model, just like Apple.
