    Most people will still be faster with any sort of keyboard.
    It's not intended as a competitor to a keyboard, though. On the web page [cam.ac.uk] I read that "Dasher is a competitive text-entry system wherever a full-size keyboard cannot be used".


    Can you see the difference between 'any sort of keyboard', and 'full-size keyboard'? Have you seen those new fangled mobile phone / PDA's? Idiot.

    I think there is nothing more to this than coincidenses and malfunction in the robot.

    I hope you're not trying to say that this robot didn't work out it's position in the world and time / space continuum, then decide to make a break for it based on all the possible factors, Sherlock.

    In New Zealand, it's only theft if you "permanently and intentionally deprived" someone of something. I argue that it is NOT stealing, as they were deprived of nothing.

    A guy I know did a project in lego mindstorms and lejos as part of his final year,

    I don't want to piss on his bonfire at all, but his final year of what - pre-school?

    We produced robots for each of the behaviours demonstrated a 1-semester robotics course, hardly a massive final year project.
