    the "normal" person doesnt. but that also meant that thir prices on cd-r and cdr-rw will drop since they wont ahve to pay royalties to the music community.
    and if cd'r are cheap and they are of decent qouality people will buy em.

    external drives i can undertand, but sound cards!?!
    back in the 80's early 90s wveryting was bulky and took up a hell lot of deskspace. please tell me why are we doing this? since when does the average computer idiot have room for a scanner, printer, a ext. harddrive, a pda cradle, and stacks of cds, and now an external sound card? WTF!
    is america that damn lazy that we dont want to take the effort to replace the sound card it self or is everybody afraid to open their case in fear of voiding the warranty?

    how long will it be before any of these get shut down by the RIAA and DMCA?
    using these P2P networks to get tv material will become more controversial as these bastard will start arguing over copyright laws..again.

    if the do create a new network; id be pissed if i had to pay more for using it or be forced to use it.

    win xp sucks admit it.
    when win 2k came out, few of the things that were wrong it, programs kept crashing and many disk utilities didnt work.

    xp, MIGHT, do half way decent IF it was running on a 4GHZ chip with 16GB of memory.

    it hogs system resources like a fiend. not to mention ie6
