If you really wanted to go way back like that, then the oldest known democracy would be Athens, even though slaves, and women were not aloud to vote on things, it was still the rule of the popular. But the UK is the oldest still going democracy, even though there were few that could vote. That doesn't make it not a democracy.
I was in Rome durring the election, (in the Hotel next to one of his compounds) and even though he may own the Cable networks, the other parties were all out and about all over the city, promoting their own candidates, hell I saw more about Mofa then him.
From the posts that I have read (about halfway down) it seems like everybody is making the assumption that everybody that needs and organ will be old enough to know. This just isn't true. At the age of 12 I had to have a kidney transplant, and while I was in hospital there were other kidney transplant into children much younger then I was at the time. A child of 4-5 doesn't know that they need an organ, and they are much too young to donate anything. I think the best idea is to have a list of people who need a transplant. This list would not be set in stone, for example if someone that is #20 on the list suddenly NEEDS an organ now, they could be bumped up, and obviously if the #1 person on the list needs and lung, and # 4 person needs a lung, and they have different blood type, and a lung with the right blood type for #4 comes up they shouldn't wait just because they are #4, they would go ahead and do the transplant. This is what happens in Canada now. Different lists for different organs too.
Yeah that's great, then when somebody who can afford medical treatment has a life threatening illness they can just lie down on the street and die. Instead of bothering the rich in their medical centers.
Yes Epson's are built in, but this does need to be cleaned some how, and do you know how they clean them? The ink that you paid for. With a canon printer, lets say the BJC-2100 its a fairly common printer, you can buy the carts for cheep, ~$10cdn for black and ~$30cdn for color, these both have a yield of ~100pgs at 15% coverage. That's pretty low, but price per page ends up being fairly close for HP, Epson, and Canon. It's Lexmark that has the highest PPP. And on top of that most of there consumer printers are pure shit.
I know it is nitpicking, but the invidual armor links are made of plastic piping if I remember correctly, still hard to make, but not as hard as real metal armor.
If you are willing to spend a little bit more money, to bump yourself out of the low end, and into the mid, to high end inject printers, I think you would be surprised how much longer they last. I purchased an HP Photosmart 1000, about 3 years ago now, it cost about $500 and it is still running great, it uses a #45 black cart, which has a yield of around 850pages, and costs around $40cnd. When I was looking for a printer for my father, I looked for something along the same lines, but all the new ones at that time where using a #15 cart, that has half the yield, and is the same price. I did end up finding a HP P1215, and it's been working good for him. My general rule of thumb is, that with the low end printer will not last long, where as the mid end and high, will go the distance, and it has never failed me. Just a note, the author said that he won't have to by carts anymore; I would like to see the look on his face when he has to go out a replace the drum on his brother.:-)
try finding one of those mini keyboards that work with the m500s, they also use the universal connection that the m125 uses, the only down side it that it would not fit nicely over the bottom, but kind of hang there.
I think the point the author is trying to make is that the card has been out for months, and Nvidia STILL hasn't released their next big thing. Look what happened to 3dfx when they where slow out of the gate with next gen cards.
Low-quality products become so popular (at least in tech stuff) because consumers still haven't realized that you actually get what you pay for. If you buy I cheap phone, PDA, or digital camera it's just not going to last like something of better quality that is a little more expensive, and the consumer will have to replace it 1 month after the warranty expires. Yet still things like this sell like hot cakes.
I remember in High school I had a horrible English teacher, she was a substitute for one that went on maternity leave, anyway the first day of classes she spelled Journal wrong she spelt it Jounal, I pointed it out to her politely and she became upset. The rest of the year she gave me horrible marks, and lay blaim on me for the rest of the class disrespecting her. I brought this up with my principle and he wouldn't do a thing about it. I was pretty up set and ended up only getting around a 60% in the class, when other years and fallowing years I would get 80% and 90%.
There are some informed buyers out there, but there are also alot of people who know Uncle Bob from the call center who uses a computer everyday, so he is a computer geneus and says that you should only buy Intil cpus and AMD is evil.
What have you leaned today? Well I leaned on a car and I also leanded on a counter. Some things that I have LEARNED is that teachers are really great people
What the school system in Canada does is put Macs in Elementary Schools, and Middle Schools, then in High School they gave us PCs with Windows 98, I think instead of having all the PCs in High School use Windows, or Linux it should be Half and Half to give the students a choice and this will also have introduced them to 3 OS over the 12 years that they are in school.
Only the full screen is in itunes, all other sizes are in QT.

The last sentence was more directed to the poster above you, then to you. meh.

Blue is the color of royalty.
I'v read a few on them, they were all pretty well done, I hope they are taking the story from one of these, instead of making up their own.
