I was watching the Colorado and San Jose hockey game, and one of the announcers noticed it. The other thought it was from the fans on their feet when the action got intense. I didn't even see anything shake, no players fell to the ground, so it doesn't seem like anything big. Then again, it was in San Jose (not sure how far that is from Gilroy.

NORML however, is not doing a good job for the legalization front.

I wonder if they could genetically engineer some corn, that would be more efficient to grow than standard corn, thereby even further reducing waste production. I'm sure people would be more open to genetically engineered corn that wouldn't be eaten, as opposed to the edible kind.

BTW, if IIRC, Dixie Cups are paper cups with a little bit of wax on em, not plastic. I could be wrong, and I know you were making a point rather than being specific about a product, but for some reason I loved those tiny little Dixie cups, AND I DEMAND SATISFACTION. sorry.

I know people who didn't buy an Xbox because of it's size. And they don't give a rats ass who makes the system. They have no idea what Linux is, etc. Put simply, it wouldn't have fit in as nicely as a PS2 with all the stereo components, and another didn't want a huge box sitting on the floor since it wouldn't fit in his "entertainment" center.

  15. Re:Too much competition on New OpenOffice.org-Based Office Suite · · Score: 2

When you say single office suite standard, do you mean a single office package, like SOT Office, StarOffice, etc? Or do you mean so that the file types are all standardized so that there could be a lot of different office suites, but they all followed a standard, so all the files were compatible with each office suite? I think either way, it's a good idea, but it's hard to say which would help more. If one office suite could capture the majority of the non-MS-Office market that was able to read/write a lot of formats, I think that would be ideal.
