    I think I'm pretty much in agreement with you. I'm perfectly content with the modern desktop idea. I'd be willing to try something new out, but this system keeps me pretty damn organized, so until then, I'm fine.

    However, about the natural selection - I think even if needed and developed, a new approach might not be readily accepted by the masses. They might not want to drop what they know for something new and alien (even if it is easy to understand).

    I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at anything before. I was younger then though, but it still makes me smile.

    Deep Blue Sea would be a prime target. I can just see Crow yelling "SHARKS CAN'T SWIM BACKWARDS!" throughout the whole movie.

    Too much of my young adult life is filled with memories of MST3K...

    I don't think you can have too much MST3K in your early years.
    I remember struggling so many nights to stay up and watch it only to succumb to sleep halfway through the movie. Oh well, I think in all my years I've probably managed to catch at least 95% of the episodes in their entirety.

    I don't know about you, but I don't buy products because I remember them. I buy them because I have a need for them and/or want them, not to mention can afford them. If anything, even if I wanted something, I wouldn't buy it if it was pushed on me without my asking...

    Because that's too quick and possibly painless, depending on where you shoot them that is. They deserve to starve to death in stocks.

    I once got a call from a home security system agency that said they had a special on home protection systems. I asked them if it protected me from unsolicited sales calls. Confused, the person on the other line said "Uhm, no sir, we don't offer that kind of protection." I told them I wasn't interested, and that they should remove me from their list.
    I was also contacted by someone offering free estimates on aluminum siding for my home. I told them that plastics were the future and they got really irritated at this.
    Basically, I like to have a little fun with telemarketers, it's great listening to them when they're caught off-guard by your questions/responses.

    I've been using Road Runner in Milwaukee for the past year or so, and other than in the beginning with almost regular (Maybe once a week) downtimes, I haven't had problems at all really in the past 8 months. And, when we did encounter problems in the beginner, they were happy to offer a 20 dollar credit to our account. (That's half a month's worth of free access) Usually the downtimes happened within a week of each other, so we saved quite a bit of money.

    Get rid of them, they suck, unless done right, and that's hard to do. They always look so fake, and just plain stupid. I know I should suspend my beliefs of reality while watching a movie, but sometimes they're so off in terms of natural human movement it looks ridiculus.

    I live in Milwaukee and I have a hard enough time finding freelance web design/graphic design jobs with any regularity (I've been doing this for over 4 years since I was 17, working my ass off). Maybe I should join a gang, take the program, and get handed a job.

    If they're so similiar genetically, wouldn't that help exterminate them? (The effects on the ecosystem, I don't know, but you'd think it'd be easier to control the problem if it gets absurdly out of hand)

    Instead of using them in emergencies, I think I will inflate them with helium, maybe fix some crazy light inside, and have it preach about it's "godness" and the fact that time is running out - REPENT! Float a hundred of those around the city, I'm sure you'd cause quite a stir. (Maybe some converts too?)

    I believe the Discovery channel is having a show on the raising of the Kursk. Unfortunatly, I cannot connect to their website at the moment to find out what time and what day it will be aired. Anybody know when the show might air?

    Someone could just make it a huge massive online game. Instead of WWII Online where you control a plane, soldier or tank that's just virtual, you control an actual plane/soldier/tank. And since it's a service for the military, the user gets paid 50 bucks a month instead of the user paying to use the game.
