    Watching stoires like this and the handling of them by MS PR machien wil no doubt clue you into why MS is slated to have decreasign sales in the world market for the next 10 years..

    THe demographics are changing, it used to be that the US sector was the fastes growing pc market..no longer.

    With the Asia, African , and European markets poised to exceed sales when compared to the US market of PCs..MS needs to heed and take notice that they are no longer the ones calling the shots.

    THe fastes gwoing markets right now for linux are Africa and China.. no its not a joke..

    If I were more involed in LInux open source right now I would start leanring a foreign language like chineese or one of the African languages it will come in handy!

    People learn the way of the wise spam killelr..

    The spammers wil try to fake your ISP header, the one where they list version of mail package and etc..

    Waht I do is compare that to the real header that my isp produces..

    It eliminates 90% of spam

    How? Is real person who actually needs to get a hold of you going to go to all that trouble of faking your isp mail header? NO!

    Another tactic that wokrs sometimes..is if the actual person doing the spamming is reachable.. send them a polite note that you charge for UCe messages and that you are posting theri email with full headers for full viewership on the web..:)

    People wake up cybersquatters have been for years registering domain names that are trademearked then turning around and trying to sell them to the trademark owner..

    I use to work for a cybersquatter ..its the the same stupid story..oh no wipo can;t do it..

    Actually I did use BeOS at one time..

    But while its journalizing system was good..

    It lacked other nice functionalities usch as multi-user..which was not added until the ned and other missing features..

    Apple's strategy was formed years ago when they first wanted to port windows 32 api to OpenStep so that you coudl run both acOSx and windwos winNT on PowerPC hardware..

    THey foudn if they did a driect approach ..ie in this case with MS..proejct woudl get no where due to MS wanting to contorl every possible portion of market..

    Thus the strategy of unoffically supporting crossplatform development fo supposedly mac centric products such as iPod..

    I have to diasgree....I have foudn that the ones that have MSCEs are the ones that are least likely to be able to think on their feet..

    Its kind of like asking someone who can just operate a saw to do good quality woodwork..

    Once you identify the ones who can think in your system adm pool of people you wil not have a problem..unless of course there is no one in that group that thinks..

    How much government written programming code i sin public domain as opposed to own closed source?

    Why is this important? Becasue the paper's author is attempting to pull the wool over someones eyes and is doing a very bad job of it..

    All gov programming code is public domain unless otherwise closed ofr gov national security reasons..whether they want to admit it or not they are already using gpl code theri own!

    They key question is how much did MS pay for the conclusiions in this report?

    Its the saem story as when MS offered some lobbying bribes for the Gov Secuirty Test guidelines to be rewritten because winNT 4 fialed those test..doesn anybody remember this?

    Where do your Journalists come from?

    Ah they came from the first entry level job at a enwspaper publishjer..the paper boyor gopher!

    THey got rpomoted becasue they could write to the common man and women..

    It is interesting that weblogs and blogs are getting promoted by the internet audience becasue they can write to the common mana, women, and child whereas readership in mainline Press has dwindled..

    If I was a Online Journalist paid by TimeWarner, NewsRider, or etc I would be worried about my job..right about now..why? Becasue in a modern society there are4 a lot more people who can write that the small group of journalists..

    As the case may be..its part of our jobs so we have to write in an easily understandable way..
