Australia deployed Ethanol nation wide... and do you know what? I now purchase 95 octane to avoid it. I like to be able to make it through a week with a specific mileage without having to refuel. E10 is everywhere here (and sometimes it's disguised under the 91 or 93 octane label instead of being branded "E10". Anecdotally it costs more to run E10 from a fuel consumption to mileage ratio.
What they fail to see themselves is that they are blind and deaf to the real message, and therefore fail to heed the knowledge that is available to them. They should take heed of their own parable.
Nobody actually READS Slashdot. They only read snippets and come to their own conclusions, and berate the OP about how they are wrong. If they were actually reading slashdot they would be a far better prospect. You could also choose to only employ people that RTFA, which would discount most/.ers.
And to clarify, I now have about 150 games on steam, and at least 100 of those came from Humble bundles (I haven't purchased many from steam, but I have added non-steam games to my library).
By no means did I purchase all bundles, and some games (I only saw two in the quick look I had) were duplicated, and the list does not guarantee that they are available on Steam, but the count I got was 141:

Really. So you think it is chemically the same as glucose? The difference is that sucrose provides half sucrose half fructose. The fructose gets metabolized in an entirely different way to the glucose.
The two main issues are that fructose by itself provides energy in such a way that it does not make the body feel "full", and that unlike the normal sugar we would expect (sucrose) we get no glucose from using it as an alternative.
Normal consumption of fructose in a natural setting also would include fibre which helps signal the body about satiation. This has been a major contributing factor in the whole "processed foods" vs "weight gain" issue. HCFS is a major component of most of the processed products that we rely on for our bulk energy needs. Really, do take a look at the lecture. The biochemistry component on how fructose gets metabolized in the liver is very interesting.
They were the only one who could get me onto ADSL2+, due to their want to RIM all newer developments. I'm glad to finally get the speeds I should have had years ago, but now I'm locked in for another 1.5 years. The price is not so good, though.
Interestingly I can still access the blocked site, so looks like they've undone that (I'm on Telstra at the moment... Don't ask). Also interesting is that they just dismantled the filtering scheme in the budget overnight, so with any luck it goes away altogether. The ACL are not particularly happy about it though (but who cares about them).
As is linked in TFS, the filter list that some ISPs may have implemented is the Interpol one. Certainly not as broad-reaching as the original Conroy planned one.
Even logical argument wont work due to cognitive dissonance and a desire to hold on to your values despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Satire would probably just rile them up more.
There was a guy banned from a bus here in Canberra for watching porn on his phone. Mind you, he kept making a deal about it and sitting next to women so that they could see/hear it. Some people will already be doing this on planes, I see no need to enable more people to do it. "Now do I give her the ass, or the crotch" will have a whole new meaning
I was using it as a document repository. As such there were files that took on the titles of documents. It worked fine for the 5 years I was using Subversion on Linux and Windows. It worked fine while I was on Linux using Git (connecting back to the subversion repo). In order to make the change now I need to remove all existing files that are experiencing the problem and resubmit in the new location.... or I can just keep using Subversion without issue.
I certainly haven't named any new files with Unicode Characters (really its just 1 Unicode character, e acute), but the issue is there now, and if I ever need to revert to older documents/folders. I do use Git for a couple of new Repos, but not as extensively as I use subversion.
My main issue with Git was it's Unicode filename support under Windows. Quite frankly it's broken. You add and commit your "Unicode Filenames" fine in Linux or Windows, but if you ever check them out under Windows they are renamed to a weird character set and require being re-added and checked in with their new path.
SVN doesn't have this problem (using TortoiseGit and mSysGit vs TortoiseSVN). I stopped using Git after I encountered this and have reverted to using Subversion until this has been resolved. If I had some time I might look into it, but seeing as it seems to be a known issue in mSysGit and the underlying cygwin(?) libraries I doubt I'd ever manage to resolve this myself without breaking something else.
Personally I like the Git Workflow, especially the commit-early-commit-often mentality that I never managed to get to in svn. It's just a shame that I can't use it seamlessly on Windows to complement my use on Linux.
Reminds me of the "company" name my friend "created" when he was writing small apps in high school. Tpwwpffbfnr. The people who write programs for fun but for no reason.:D

I think the main issue is they are adding more HFCS to everything, not less. This is what is affecting us, and it's getting worse as time goes on.

I watched this lecture recently about Fructose (and high fructose corn syrup). https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dBnniua6-oM
It was quite long (1.5 hours) but very informative in how bad HFCS is to us, and why low fat has caused this.

Is it Cluster Aware? So far I haven't found a lot that really is, even when they claim it is.
No Silicon Heaven? That's preposterous! Where would all the calculators go?

"we got this"? You must be one of the teachers that could use some improvement according to Mr. Gates suggestions.
You really haven't seen the shape of my head. The hair is doing everybody a favour... trust me
Apart from Jim and Bexley, he had another son: David Lister. Who was for a time named Our Rob or Ross.
If he really wanted to get away with it he should have been behind 7 proxies.
