First the activist scientists said the woodpecker was extinct. But then someone discovered it was a lie. Now the activist scientists say that flowers were extinct, and here this young fella found some.
When will activist people stop believing the activist scientist and judges understand that the oil business stops terrorists through its expanded strategerically sound methods?
AAAHH is that a C or an E? mf
Jeez
PS: WTF is this "prove you are a human" sh1t? Why can't we make the robots prove they are capable of posting slashdot quality comments??
Yeah...that's what scientists do. Do you not even try to discover the truth because you start out with uncertainty? I think you are a jackass and I want to find out if you are, in fact, a jackass. So do I not persue it because I don't know for a fact that you are a jackass? Or do I start trying to put the pieces together? Right now all I know is that you've made a jackass comment. That leads me in the direction as, so you say, "supports a particular theory". I could look at all your comments, search google for your email and see what else you've been up to. But, if I follow your logic, I don't know for certain that you are a jackass. So I should just give up and...wonder forever I suppose.
I, the mighty codefungus, predict that we will be seeing the whole prohibition deal all over again. They are gonna end up outlawing something rediculous (like P2P apps), then everyone will start breaking the law and it will become obvious how ludicrous (speed!) it is and we will be back to square one.
Stupid jackasses...republicans are selfish, money hungry bastards...that or just religious sheep of the administration.
That's insane. At TV tax that is being applied to computers?!?! I can at least follow the logic for TVs...I mean, what else you gonna do with a TV? But a computer? What if you do nothing else but show a weather map from noaa.gov?
Secondly, it seems as though the public broadcast plays commercials...don't those commercials pay for the broadcast?
I like using linux because the people you run into tend to be a bit brighter. I like the fact that you actually have to know what you are doing in Linux in order to do it. People are always talking about how difficult linux is and how it's hard to install applications. I hope I never see that day.

And the reason why Darl is the way he is?

A friend of mine purchased a new cannon digital camera that let you take 3 pictures in a "line" and it did the work of putting them together in order to create a panoramic image. I don't see that this is really all that different.
I didn't see her use the feature though, so how well it works, I dunno.
Ok...well maybe not. But I saw him once in NYC at some LUG function. During the question portion, someone stood up to ask about propriatery software and he flat out refused to even consider her question because it related to closed code.
I thought that was pretty weak, and decided on the spot that I didn't much care for him.
You are looking for 1 package to diagnose a giant set of hardware components. That seems like quite a challange. Maybe you should look at it from the standpoint of components such as a memory test, hard drive test, mainboard test, proc test, etc. This will obviously require you to lug someones hard-drive home to your "test" machine, but it may be easier looking for those kinds of software packages.
With all the crazy IP stuff I see, this is one country I will never visit.
Man...that place is messed up.

Scary place your Europe.
This is were we call on crackers to crack the system and tell us how...thereby rendering rfid's useless...and suddenly not worth the money.
I know you can crack them, but I want a wizard
This is not new really.
Check out consultingdirect.com. A people auction.
Ok. This incompatability list is gonna be useless...why?
Hmm...I wonder if my DWL650+ is incompatable. Well...I don't see it in the list.
I wonder if it's because it's compatable, or no one has assessed it yet!
Jee...I guess I'll STILL need to search a million websites, etc. etc.
"how some companies have even started summer camps to attract high school girls into high tech"
Interesting...I think I'm gonna have to talk to my boss about hiring high-school girls to work in tech.
mmmmmmmmmm
high school girls.
Boy I can't wait to go to work!
We don't need people associating the EFF with blackmail.
I wish they wouldn't do this.
That's alabama for you.

So it seems to me that MS can now distribute their version of open source windows applications using the existing open source distribution channels.
And if MS software on SourceForge was just as abundant as non-MS software, it would be interesting to REALLY see MS compete.
Don't underestimate the power of the dark side.

You know, today is the day you get the funny picture with a phpinfo(); call.
Absolutely. I've stopped purchasing music. Now I get my stuff second hand or from Magnatune.com (check them out, you'll probably like something).
Everyone...either stop giving them money or bust out the vasceline. You choose.
hahahahahaha
I always wanted an excuse to put together an ltsp project....so damn cool.
My buddy impleted a big setup at his company (hosting co) and even have Win32 clients.
You get to run a bunch of terminals off of a server with some crafted nics.
While MS may have been the target, this would have eventually affected all of us.

Yeah...you know that would be cool.
Good idea.
