Everything at Telus depends on who you talk to. I do it all the time, if the first guy/gal can't or doesn't want to help, call the next guy/gal. usually after a few phone calls you get someone who know's how to fix it, but isn't supposed to, but does it anyways. Most likely this is how most of their problems start.
My favorite quote from Edmonton is "Hey look, the Londonderry router is out again". For a while there you could almost depend on it.
$25 is a promotional deal for the first year, after that it goes up to $34.95 and if you don't have telus long distance it goes up another $3.00. And thats on top of basic phone service.
hmm, that would be pretty simple. its not 100% but it is pretty smart on their part
if the spammer assumes that the IP of your mail server and the IP that you come from are on the same network then they can assume that the spammail was read.
example: buckojoe@spamking.com
various servers on spamking.com resolve to 208.54.3.130
if any IP's from 208.54.3.* visit i flag buckojoe@spamking.com as good to spam
I'm sure a bunch of other checks could also be done to match up IP's and mail server networks.
if i had the money. personally i prefer an old beetle say 1967 possibly 1966 with 12v conversion
You do realize that a restored beetle is much more affordable than a Toureg. I've seen some really nice frame off, nut and bolt, complete restorations go for around $10,000. You can get a Restored VW for each day of the week instead of a Toureg. Lets say an Oval window for Monday, A split for Tuesday, A Super for Wednesday, A convertable for Thurdsay and a Baja for Friday.

Your old Fox would have been a MK2 car in northamerica. No 1/8" jacks on them. But the bonus is they were standard DIN sized so aftermarket stuff slipped in like a dream. Too bad about the motor though, alot of the aftermarket parts would just not work. Friends of mine always were thinking of gutting the motor and electronics, then replacing with a built 2.0. Now that would have been a sleeper for sure.

Yes, the stock radio in the MK3 cars (3rd generation) had the 1/8" input. Golf, Jetta and the corrado had these from '93 to '98 in north america.
A feature i rather liked. Too bad they took it away along with the DIN sized deck too. Such a pitty.
Install the patch. Does it still work? if it does, then its perfect.
Are there other processes that run on this machine that are sort of SCO dependant? Or does everything migrate perfectly over to the Linux side of things? If everything migrates over perfectly then it might be worth looking to.
Have you looked at how the DVD works yet? Does it destroy the MBR and re-create it when it runs or does it simply re-format the C: Partition like other recoevery disks that come with other products. It might be worth an hour of your time to find out, because if it does work this way you can still use it for recovery purposes.
If it does not work this way, then you'll have to resize your existing partition and install linux (dual booting) and make your own new recovery disks. Lets say two, one for your Windows and one for your New Linux install.
Like many people here have noticed, this is not an overly difficult process. Surely you must have thought of resizing your partitions and making your own recovery disks? But then again... Maybe your just trying to stir up trouble.

Have everyone involved in the rotation pick a few important holidays. Maybe two or three each. Then factor in all Major Holidays that may have been missed. Lets say 7 people and 30 holidays, schedule your weeks/days on and weeks/days off so people don't work too many holidays in a row. (eg: Thanks giving, Christmas, New years) Print up a couple years as a sample to see if its fair. Adjust as needed. Allow people to trade weeks/days so they can work around vacations, weddings, giving birth etc...
No, not really. If you read the article you will discover that all they want to do is talk to Microsoft at the moment. The X-Box cracker group contacted ZDNet because their attempts to contact Microsoft went un-noticed.
spend the extra $50 and get a real system that will kick the ass out of any X-Box.
4 times the space, 4 times the memory and 2.3 times the processor for 1.1 times the cost. Why waste your time if all you want is a server like PC.
If all you wanted to do is match performance of an X-Box. I'm sure you could come up with some good used older/slower gear from local computer shops or even ebay for alot cheaper then an X-box.
Yeah, the key word is LEGIBLE. I've worked with companies where a field staffs field notes were given to a specific draftsperson because they were the only ones who could decifer the chicken scratch. The biggest problem is there are far too many personal styles when it comes to cursive writting.
I remember this one fellow who never crossed his 'T's and he looped them like 'L's at the same time. I could always hear draftsmen cursing while trying to decifer his field notes.
Yeah, i guess two jobs that require Oracle experience and two jobs that require MySQL experience doesn't really say much to what database they are using for their google data. It still could be just about anything though.
Dude, no where did i mention that there were going to be a bunch of windows boxes on the network. Please don't put words into my mouth.
All i'm saying if there is some type of machine that has access to both the "fucking packet-switched network" and some other accessible network, then it might be possible to get a virus/worm/trojan that eats bandwidth for lunch and causes problems.

Try a CD-RW. I know its funny, but I've got one here that does not play CD-R's but CD-RW's are fine

Ever played Ultima Online when the backups were made. Some really funny stuff happened late at night on the Pacific servers.
