Is it me or is it a little strange to see a "New" version of a movie appearing every few months?? A.I. is getting ready to come out in a few weeks and I predict within 3 months there will be a special director cut or special edition come out. Im still a bit mad because I purchased the "regular" version of Dogma only to see 2 weeks later a special "gold" version come out.:(

Everytime I goto the store and get a new release 6 months down the road a "special edition" comes out with a ton of extra stuff and sometimes an extra DVD or 2. What is up with this??? Its like Dogma, they released it on DVD. A few months later some kind of Gold edition comes out with a new box and extra stuff. Or the Matrix, how many times are they going to keep re-releasing it with extra "revisited" footage???
Man this is crazy. The way things are going I wouldnt be suprised if Microsoft gets together with Whirlpool, GE, and Sony to incorporate computerchips into everything. I can see it now...You are sitting at your computer playing Quake and forget to preheat the oven, Oh! just do it from Windows GE. Forget to close the garage door? Oh, just login remotely from your Media Pad and close it down.
Everything was fine until 9am Saturday morning. It slowly got worse throughout the day. I will be lucky if I can send this message out before it starts resetting itself again. They must be doing something to the networks. Hopefully they arent slowly disabling the entire network.

In all seriousness I see history about to repeat itself. When the N64 first came out you had the Mario, Zelda, and Starfox remakes. After a few months a few good games came out like GoldenEye but it goes straight for the Pokemon Stadium, Barbie, Olsen Twins and other childrens games.
First we will see the Metriod, Zeldas, Starfox remakes and stuff like that....Then it will all go back to Barbie, Digimon, Olsen Twins, and finally POKEMON!!!!! Ill stick with my "mature" PS2. Plus the XBOX is just a small computer with joystick ports on it, I dont really see an XBOX2 in the future because if they are smart they will make it so you can upgrade the original XBOX. But then again we are talking about Microsoft here...
Hopefully they will release some games like Castlevania for this system. I give it about 3 months before it goes back to a full Pokemon kiddie system like the N64 ended up being.
