Also, javascript is shit and a typed language would be better, whether it is typescript or elm or whatever else.

As someone who comes from a country that has a history of terror attacks, I can tell you that calling someone to make sure they were not hurt is not something new. People have been doing this here (both calling to say they're safe and calling to check if others are safe) before we even had internet.
Who decided that the division should only be based on color and gender? For example, I'm pretty sure that unattractive people are oppressed and discriminated against constantly. I've also seen plenty of fat white men being told that they are not oppressed, when in the case of a woman, people would say that she is oppressed because of fatopohbia.
All this oppression talk is just a cover-up for chauvinism (in its original meaning), an excuse for one group to hate another. And like most chauvinists and bigots, the trick that they do is that they speak about a single made-up division as if it is the most important one and as if it is trivial that no other divisions exist.
I know some very religious artists that are open-minded and enjoy exploring new things. Meanwhile, I also know atheists and leftists who are very close minded, categorize everythingg they do not like as facism or sexism or racism, and are not easy to hang around with. Open-mindedness is not part of any ideology, and to some extent, contradicts the idea of having an ideology at all.
Libertarians believe in economic theories that have historically been shown to result in disasters like the 1930 crisis. Conservatives are people that literally believe that there are absolute rules given to us by a divine man in the sky and his child which was born out of a virgin.
Now don't get me wrong, SJWs are just as worse, but it's a lie to pretend that anti-science is a left-only thing. In general it seems like in most political movements today, science has become an enemy.
Where I live it is sometimes the opposite of this. During our last military confronation, people were fired for writing facebook statuses against the war. There are companies whose policy is not to hire people who skipped conscription, and in general "leftist" is mostly equated with tratior. Sure, there are few companies that are more left leaning and act the opposite, but to me it feels the same. Everybody knows that without a workplace you will starve, thus they decide to threaten you with hunger in order to make you comply.

Here in Israel we used to worship them as patrons in the 90s, we even used to sell american flags in our independence day.
