but the problem is that ps3s will almost always be hooked up to a television. I've seen WebTV and products alike and it looks likes crap on a normal television.

If HDTVs become more commmon, then maybe I guess.

    From the article:
he beta test version simply involved taping episodes of Comedy Central stand-up specials with the closed-captioning titles on. The sound would be turned down, the TV screen turned away from the audience and toward the Joke-e-oke participant, who would read the closed-captioned titles into a microphone.

So, just do that instead of wasteing your money on this stupid software. You are doing the same thing.

My piece had the temerity to question the usefulness of Google digitizing millions of books and making bits of them available via its notoriously inefficient search engine. The Google phenomenon is a wonderfully modern manifestation of the triumph of hope and boosterism over reality. Hailed as the ultimate example of information retrieval, Google is, in fact, the device that gives you thousands of "hits" (which may or may not be relevant) in no very useful order.

Oh I see. This guy doesn't know shit. Nothing to see here, move along.

This idea was used at chemistry nobel prize winner Kary Mullis office when he invented a process that reproduced DNA litterally a billion times, starting the period of time where cloneing could be possible.

He showed it to his boss, and the boss' company sold the rights of the process for millions of dollars with none of the money going to Dr. Mullis.

Maybe the tradeoff of giving the employee less 'labor time' would still be worth the rights issue, but this kind of thing is bound to repeat itself.
