Go there during the day. You'll get fit AND meet people. People tend to be friendlier in gyms during the day since it's quieter and the same people come at the same time.
It's not obvious to a 14 and 16 y/o that guns kill permanently? I don't agree. Maybe to a 10 year old. What they may not have realised, though, is that they are responsible for their actions.
1. As a hiring manager, unless you go to a school I've heard of, in an English-speaking country, I'm probably not going to think very highly of your degree.
That actually makes sense if that's all the thought that you put into it, but I would like to think that you wouldn't let the fact that you hadn't heard of the school cast a negative mark over an interviewee. I mean, how many schools have you heard of??
I'm not sure how this is a precedent since spamming is illegal right now in Austria and Italy, and I'm sure some other countries too. But it is good news - hopefully the rest of the world isn't too far behind.
WebSphere Studio AD is also complete memory hog and you need 1GB of RAM to run it all day without getting into paging hell after a couple of hours of use.
I want an FM Radio. I don't care that it has to be so small that I can fit in it any arbitrary crevice in my body, but I do appreciate a radio for something to do only longer journeys. I couldn't give a monkeys about voice recording though.
That's the problem, most OSS coders are tinkerers at heart..they could code a great workflow management tool if they wanted to, but it just wouldn't challenge them enough. I think it's more likely that previously commercial efforts could be released as OSS.
Will we soon see
President Bush coming to Europe with Richard Stallman and Rick Rashid
in tow, demanding that Europe import more American free software?
It is fair. The bottom line is, if card counting was openly used, Blackjack in casinos wouldn't exist. Imagine you have one card counter at a table..he sees the count in his favour, tells everyone at the table it's time to bet big, and the casino will start to lose big time over the next several hands until such time that the count goes in the casinos favour again.
Now that most of the big hotel casinos in Vegas are moving to electronic shoes though, this isn't an issue anymore since counting the cards is pointless.
I've thought about it, and it's a myth that he's 'screwing you'. I've played with bad players who hit when they shouldn't and vice versa, and the only difference it makes is that the game doesn't flow as I expect it too, but it doesn't change my odds of winning. Same goes for playing with a card counter.
If you're not counting cards yourself, the next card has an equal chance of being a 10 or a 2 regardless of what the person before you does.
I always wondered why all the feedback seems to be the same "A+++++ user.Recommended" crap. Is this some sort of sheep mentality or is there more fake feedback than we think? I always make a point of recording some more unique sounding feedback, but there isn't much room to do so. EBay should provide a space for more detailed feedback which would give users more assurance that a seller isn't fake.
I wouldn't say M2 (Opera's E-Mail client) was 'great'. It's a bit different (why?), takes a bit of getting used to, and has a long way to go before it can compete with other E-mail clients.
This guy (and any other who asks for advice on how to stay in shape) won't bike ride to work, because he's looking for an easy solution.
There isn't one. Excercise (outside the office of course, you'll never get in shape running up and down the stairs once a day), or change your diet, or both. It's a simple choice - do it or don't do it. Not having time is not an excuse. Make time.
Amazon UK are selling pre-modified region free DVD players, so it would appear that Blockbuster has another huge ally right there.
I'm sure this would improve translation software too, since a paraphrased sentence should be easier to translate into something sensible.

Sounds like you need to check. 'I do not think' doesn't seem to qualify as a fact in my book.
I'll be waiting for him to pull out his Hodododod.

Not just England, the whole of the United Kingdom. I know that Northern Ireland for instance has a higher standard of h.s education than England.

Cause then it won't be the size of a bic lighter anymore, and saying it's the size of a bic lighter is like, cool.
Can we have those in the next version of Quake, please?
Of course JDK 1.4 is production ready. What you're getting confused by is that many application servers still only run on the JDK 1.3.x
But not all. JBoss, for instance, runs on the latest 1.4.2 JRE.
Well, they had one guy with a Groucho Marx mask, one with a Ronald McDonald mask...

How did he know Bush would become president??!?!

Yeah and which calendar - I'm assuming Gregorian, but if they mean the Liberalia Triday Calendar then that's next Friday :o

Not just web page designers - any GUI developer.
