    Neither does the Japanes ID-number. That's what the database is there for - and I (not being American) would guess that most of this is also stored in a Social Security database somewhere.

    The people at the Universität der Bundeswehr München / ISF (U. of German Armed Forces) are much further than that. Their Autonomous Vehicle already took a 1000 mile drive across German Autobahns, where only the initiation of lane changes was done by a human (according to an article in c't issue 5/2000).

    In the good olde times, there were trials against various animals for killing people. Of course non of them had anything to say in their defense ;-).

    But wait a second. This is a pretty large asteroid, which happens to come close to earth's orbit (if not actually cross it) every 2.29 years, and has been detected less than a month ago. In the last few months another two (smaller) asteroids were discovered, both days after they closely passed earth.

    So here I am, not worrying about those asteroids they have found so far. But what the fuck about those they have not found yet?

    No. Wrong. Can't do. Unless you have a video of a static scene - but that is not likely, is it. Well, you could probably make it a little better, by unsing a lot of computing power.

    For this technique it is not the "moving pictures", it's the "many low-res images" (of a larger static scene) property of video that is the key. These are, simply said, patched together and overlayed to build a single larger high-res image. IOW, instead of a video you could also use a number of (digital) photos of the scene.

    Middle-click - on a two-button-mouse?

    Anyway, how do you open a link in a new window behind the other windows? In iCab it's just Command-Shift-click on the URL. While you need four buttons.
