    I wouldnt rush to blame Microsoft so quickly, I find fault with the person who attempted to do the Update LIVE on the network.

    (dont all big failures occur on monday?)

    I cant say much about why they are dropping the unit but us useful to know that SonyEriccson has had some trouble with the t608 Bluetooth phone (used on the sprint network).
    Part of it was them "obtaining" some technology from qualcomm,
    To the t608 being a bluetooth phone with some interesting bugs

    Due to the Recent runup of disney's stock the Comcast offer is not worth it for any disney shareholder.

    Secondly The offer should be looked over carefully because the disney shareholder is getting an equivalent stock (with some conversion in comcast stock) [this part can be argued]

    From what I understand disney has hired some investment bankers to look at the prospect of being sold (to any company)

    I expect that at the end of this mess disney will be flying solo with a slightly elevated stock price

    The Big deal about renewable energy and the solar cells is that you get HUGE tax write-offs for using these technologies.

    In fact I know of a hotel that has a "mini power plant" on the site. the only reason why it is their is for the added tax break they receive for it (It initially would costs more money to use the plant than to get energy off the grid [read with higher energy prices this equation changed])

    The reason the plant was created was for the ADDED tax benefit.

    I have seen posts already showing her phone and hime information. I propose that for each email that we receive we give LAura a call thanking her for her email and kindly suggesting that she stop sending her spam.

    Of course this brings out the issue of how far you can bring this
    one place that I have found (that some spammers belong to) is "http://www.the-dma.org" this is Direct Marketing Association they may help in stopping some spammers

    *(although I am not a legal expert... I beleive that in case any courts get involved you can inform them that you are simply completing the communication that she has initated)

    Actually RCN (a nearby cable provider) allows you to choose which channels you want! I beleive it costs 2-5 a channel

    I just called my cable comapany and asked them If I can choose my basic local (broadcast) channels and Comedy central, TLC, MTV. The Receptionoist Informed me that these channels are part of "family package" and I would have to purchase that option to get those channels. The CS person then informed me that I can pick and choose my movie channels if I so desired.

    Oh well so much for legal rules

    Another question is that What if the secret service informed a Sys Admin that his Network was "open". and he was susequently hacked is this sys admin liable for the damage caused??
