    I think it has something to do with Chinese savings now being the foundation of much of the western economy, and the fact that China is a major nuclear power.

    Please, don't confuse "western economy" and "US economy" - they are two different things, but you are correct in that US eceonomy is (or soon used to be) a part of the western economy.

    Oh - that's what they said about the netbooks as well. "It's not a PC" - still everybody wanted to use it as one, and complained when it couldn't run crysis in 1080p or whatever!

    However, these same theories are what led people to consider the possibility of black hole production in the first place. If those theories are taken away, then the reason for concern also disappears.

    What I haven't seen is a person that understand the current theories, argue for the possibility of a black hole that could swallow the earth being generated by the LHC. I choose to believe the people who understand the theories.

    This is too new to have any impact on the general health of Norwegians. It wasn't like that 10 years ago - but you still probably had your family doctor. I know I did.

    Sherlock Holmes wasn't more original than Avatar. Might be something different, yes, but not more original. Chipmunks I haven't seen, and don't intend to either, but from what I've been told, it's worse than the first one, which was awful.
