    Sorry but nuclear reactors (LFTR) that could do 800 C are banned in the USA. Too scary.

    Current nuclear reactors only do 300 C

    Audi's process requires 800 C to make the magic happen.

    Yep.

    Massage a document daily in MS word and the document will eventually get corrupted.

    Then I had to use OpenOffice (LibreOffice didn't exist back then) just to rescue my document from MS Word. The document is still going strong today, in ODF format.

    Why do all cars now have a proprietary tablet in the dash?
    These tablets are so integrated that they cost the car manufacturer big $ and the customer even more.

    Why not use a stock android or iPad tablet and create a custom app to talk wirelessly to the car?

    FYI:
    K-Lite is a codec pack for players that use "system" codecs.
    System Codec packs do not upgrade/play with others well.
    One version => Video A works, Video B is broken.
    New Codec pack => Video A broken, Video B is works.
    FSCK that!

    VLC only uses its own built-in codecs and almost always works.
    Chances are if VLC won't play it, the video is corrupt.
