all true, people are myopic, uneducated sheep and are mostly self centred in their views on what is important. Winston said it best with "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.". So it is up to politicians to directly appeal to them and convince them about what is best. The only other decent option is a benevolent dictator which would be great if you could reliably find one, sadly though power and politics attract exactly the wrong types of people.
Then the project should die. It is not for you or anyone else to dictate what the voters must accept, if they reject it then that is their right even if it is a stupid decision, e.g. trump.
What's on MY computer is not the business of any private person unless I have
given them permission. This little shithead abetted invading the privacy of thousands of people.
If you find out someone recorded video of you undressing in your bedroom, are you going to go after the camera manufacturer?
If the camera manufacturer was creating, marketing and selling the camera for the express purpose of secretly recording people undressing in their bedroom then you bet your fucking arse I would be going after the manufacturer in addition to the person that did it.
So many things can cause positive test results for explosives residues from use of guns to simple garden fertilisers, even certain medications and body creams can return positive results due to the ingredients.
If the headphone jack is their then my wife will swap from her iPhone 6 to that, she is already jealous of the quality of the camera in my s7 compared to her iPhone and constantly makes us swap phones when she is doing photos in less than ideal conditions, but the rumor that Samsung were headed down the same braindead path as apple was going to be a deal breaker. I guess we wait and see.
Not really. Theranos is still running (it should be shut down). But even if it was you still need to prosecute/take legal action to ensure the dodgy directors and especially holmes etc are at the very least barred from running future ventures legally otherwise they would just move onto the next scam and rake in millions from more suckers as they would just claim "it was all just a beat up in the press, we were never charged with any crime or sued for any wrongdoing therefore we must be innocent".
aQuantive absolutely, Nokia probably (though they got access to a lot of tech to help their devices division for future), LinkedIn remains to be seen, they also said the same thing for Skype which so far has been very successful for them. There is also a large difference between facebook and Microsoft though, Microsoft have large bundles of offshore money that really can only be spent on acquisition's and even an overpriced acquisition is better than bringing the money back and paying tax on it. Facebook at the time was still heavily reliant on borrowed/investment money so a $1 billion fling was a VERY big thing.
sad but I think this is more a sign of how people have become more aware and exposed to people through the internet. 20 years ago the media and communication that someone important died was non existent unless they were important enough to make the local news. As internet use and exposure continues to rise each year will seem like ever increasing numbers of well known people will die. The world is just a much smaller place than it used to be.
Given the decrease in production and sales I would say it is stuff MOST people don't care about. My wife certainly doesn't the only thing on that list she cares about is the improved camera, but that is trumped by not being able to charge and use headphone jack at same time.
well fuck that, my wife will simply wait for something else, she was already eyeing a Galaxy 7, but wanted to wait till next version now. However rumors are that Samsung may do away with the jack as well which would also make it a non starter
sweet, I did not realise they included an adapter that allows both charging and headphones at the same time. This was the blocker that prevented my wife from upgrading as she had to be able to do both.
Most of that the average consumer doesn't give a shit about, however their music and ability to plug in their expensive headphones and charge the phone matters. The average person would look at your list and say well their are no upgrades there for me at all. The 6s is more than fast enough for most people, graphics are fine and while water resistence is nice it is hardly a killer feature. Improved dual cameras is really the only step up for the selfie obsessed average user. It is not enough to simply incrementally improve a device when you want someone to spend the best part of a Grand year to year on upgrades.
So how did they differentiate the severe eyesight problems from cataracts and other degenerative disaorders that massively changed painters styles (like Monet) to effects caused by Parkinsons or alzheimers?
Seriously Obama you are starting to make Trump look sane. The last thing the world needs is a new cold war, never thought I would say it but Trump can't come soon enough before you do any more damage, I can only assume you or your party has big financial interests that are not supported by friendly relations with Russia.
Either that or we have just found new and more innovative methods to fleece rich investors of money, see Theranos or cold fusion in a shipping container, the article reads like a marketing slide for investors with zero 3rd party verification and the statement that they need more research and development to get the accuracy and bring to market. I hope they are real as such a device could be of massive benefit but I would not hold my breath till I see some proof from someone other than themselves.
Was just thinking exactly the same thing. until there is some verified reviews of the device and the accuracy I would hope investors are smart enough this time around to steer clear. Theranos was a good lesson for many big investors.
given that Act doesn't classify sharing a home with others as homeless it would seem that is not what they are using. living with others would be classified as "at risk of homeslessness"
When you play baccarat, you are playing against other customers, never the Casino's money.
Did the casino return the money to the other PLAYERS he cheated?
Or did they simply keep the ill-gotten gains?
Also, he deserved to keep the money he won in other games. That was bull. Money is fungible, he made those bets and won.
incorrect, there are multiple variants of Baccarat including ones where you are playing against the house
could be in the remake, haven't found anyone willing to endure it to find out yet though ;-)

ahhh yes he can.
The overrun is 50% so far! with at least 7 more years to blow that out significantly.

just couple the codec with gold plated monster cables that will eliminate those bit errors.

TB support has been around for a long time in 64 bit OS's. Even windows desktop supports 2TB and latest server edition 24TB.

So mentally handicapped people!

tell that to all the investors that lost millions in the theranos scam and to the judges on the pending lawsuits and class actions
