    You can draw, write, animate, and even start fires with it. No, it's not a Note 7. It's kind of limited on memory, but if the average sheet of paper holds 3500 zeros, at 100 sheets, that's 42.7246 KB of storage. Good thing too, because the RAM sucks...*looks in the mirror. Pen marks on the arm as "Swap" space.*

    Or, it's the source code to only the client and refer any data collection in the same light as Firefox, to which the wording is now creepy as hell and on by default with no warning. I want to know what's going on server side that all users blindly agree to in the EULA.

    Edge uses spyware (phones home) to monitor your browsing habits to pair with a list of unsafe for Windows or bad for business websites, so of course it's going to find more. Most Linux websites and non-Microsoft hardware are probably on their list. At least Firefox and Chrome users GET TO VOTE on what websites are actually malicious or not. I wonder how much it costs to get a competitor listed? Simple example: Ever wonder why you keep getting malware warnings for video sites and it's getting worse? Hollywood.

    Yep, and Google (Alphabet) is an international company. If people are that dumb to be fooled by ads purchased legally, you have no right to complain.

    If you're a Linux user, then you are also probably using pulseaudio like the rest of us. Launch pavucontrol and just change the audio output. You don't need to rely on applications to have special features to customize things when dealing with Linux. When you think you've found a way to do something, there's probably 3 more you haven't thought of yet.

  14. I was about to say, if you were motivated to vote for a president by a YouTube/Google/Facebook advertisement in 2017, you're either an idiot or ignorant of Firefox+Adblock or uGet. But when it comes to computers, I've learned that most people are both.

    than a Micro$oft proprietary language running on a machine that can't be debugged in real time at unimaginable speeds, and you know it'll be connected to AI shortly afterwards somehow. But you know, they joined the Linux Foundation, have a Linux Subsystem (which is bullshit), W10 is "open source," and are now part of the OSI. Surely they have changed their ways? Nope....But as long as you can game on your PC, you people keep ignoring all that they do like you don't have any other OS or hardware choices. But using only Bing and Google, it doesn't surprise me if search results are deliberate.

    Or...use XFCE, Mate, LXDE, IceWM, or Openbox instead of GNOME, KDE, or Unity...? If you're just now finding out how terrible GNOME 3 is for older hardware, don't blame Linux and OS community for that. It's been terrible since day one (quite a few years now). XFCE uses only around 300MB vs. GMOME 3/Unity 1GB at login and isn't as annoying to use. If you need menu search, use the Whisker Menu (right-click panel to add items).

    but you can't burn your face (or you shouldn't). How hard would it be to 3d print a missing dead guy's face? They'll have the data for it soon. Someone should make a Game of Thrones God of many faces parody for this. And you know, Facefarm is somehow going to find a way to be 5x's more creepy with this tech than Apple some how. They always find a way. I say we use our private parts to unlock our phones. I'd actually feel safer and it's not like the iPhone 11 won't be getting semen samples next, so mind as well.

  24. Would anyone else would be happier with a simple Whisker Menu and an XFCE panel at the top? You'd drag your finger down from the top for the Whisker Menu and double tap the home button for application switching. Triple tap for a file manager. The important stuff could just be shortcuts on the "phonetop." Keyboard shortcuts as phone button shortcuts would be really awesome. Double tap volume for a terminal. I want to know what login/desktop manager (lightdm, gdm, etc.) they plan on using, if any. How is power preservation going to work? Idiot me would try Xscreensaver because lightdm doesn't play nice with MacBooks and I really don't expect it to with phones either.

    What will it do to the digestive system? There's a shit-ton of bacteria in your mouth and a lot of them you need. Not being able to properly digest food versus not so bad breath? The ADA would never allow a miracle vaccine for this if it really works.
