    And it's been slowly climbing back up since this morning.
    At 09:23 EST, the value of BTC was around CAD$14700.
    At 13:55 EST, the value of BTC is now CAD$17930.

    Still far from the peak CAD$25000 value of two or three days ago, but still.

    Only Bitcoin haters post asinine crap like you did.

    Crypto-currency faucets have to use reCAPTCHA so that people cannot claim coins with automated scripts.

    So some people do use reCAPTCHA dozens of times per day (multiple times per day, over multiple websites) even though it's legit and we're not bot and we're not attempting to break into logins.

    I think it's almost only so they have a background image and can associate a real-world animal/place/whatever to the OS, to attach an emotion or feeling toward the product.

    I guess it's better for the Keynote to say "Today we're introducing macOS Mountain Higher Sierra Leopard Lion!" rather than "Today we're introducing macOS 12!"

  18. DVD rips looks good enough on my 23" widescreen LCD monitor. DVI and HDMI inputs, no fucking built-in tuner that could become outdated, no smart TV crap that would change how the monitor works without my approval, no smart TV crap that can get infected with spyware.

    Sure, Blu-ray would look better, but that would require investing in buying movies to be worth it and I'm doing as little as possible to help the old media cartels.
