    Are storage devices overpriced too? Do you use a punched paper roll to store your information because Western Digital/Seagate/etc are overpriced?

    I don't know exactly why Mr.Musk did these declarations, perhaps he is genuinely worried about an apocalyptic future.

    I've read articles debating wether or not Musk could actually be from the future. There were some really strong arguments made, more than the ones against it.

    Why do you say the latest Macs are shit? Are you talking about the non-upgradable RAM soldered to the motherboard, the low-end dual core i5/i7, the weak GPUs (if any), the pointless expensive toys (touch bar), the five years without upgrades for the Mac mini, MacBook Air and Mac Pro, or the fact that OS X started going downhill after 10.5?

    There's your problem. You expect people to be able to sit still and learn things for one hour and 40 minutes at a time? And then go to another class and repeat that pattern? That's not how most people work. Lower those classes to one hour with 15 minutes breaks between classes and you'll see drastic changes in learning abilities.

    $3 multiplied by 365 days equals $1095. If you make around $25K that means you'd be wasting 4% of your annual income on coffee. Get real.

    Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt". Sarcasm may employ ambivalence, although sarcasm is not necessarily ironic. "The distinctive quality of sarcasm is present in the spoken word and manifested chiefly by vocal inflection." The sarcastic content of a statement will be dependent upon the context in which it appears.

    When I buy things on eBay, I always pick Hong Kong sellers if I can, even if it means paying a bit more. I get my items much faster, sometimes a week or two earlier than ordering from China.

    Québec: 1542056 square kilometers (595,391 square miles)

    Keep in mind that Québec is only the second biggest province/territory of Canada, which itself is the second biggest country on the planet after Russia.

    Dual-core 1.4GHz in 2017 (or even 2014) is a joke.
    4GB RAM is nowhere near enough except for extremely basic users, 8GB should be the minimum. Since you cannot add RAM in a 2014 Mac mini, it's even worst.
    5400 RPM or not, spinning disks in a Mac is not an option anymore, mac OS is clearly designed for SSD.

    The sad thing is, if I were looking for a Mac mini in 2017 I'd have to buy a 2012 quad-core model.

    This is still true today.

    No we don't have anything better to do with ours lives, working with computers is our job.

    I've never bought a computer that came with either Windows or Office.

    We are doing something productive with our lives that probably also affect your life as well, you're just too stupid to know it.

    As for this "outside" you speak of, it's a myth.
