Isrealis don't battle for the Holy Land. They're already there. They're battling for the space they were given as well as the space that they for no real reason other than to piss others off, they moved into.
I've owned an 1100 for over 3 years now and except for replacing a little piece so that it wouldn't feed more than one paper at a time (a known problem) and replacing the toner I've been able to go through reams and reams of paper without issue in both Windows and Linux.
I really like the printer.

ITYM,... be it a cure for the cancer of a baby-mulching machine.
The worst thing about baby-mulching machine cancer is the metastization. I'm not aware of any other cancer system with such prolific spreads. Any help in the curing of this particular cancer would definitely be usable in other approaches to curing cancer, say in humans. But I digress.
Perhaps you should attempt an extended conversation with someone who believes wholeheartedly in educating the populace of the concept that in many cases the copying of data does not deplete its value. When combined with a practically zero cost for copying the data an entire paradigm for the distribution of media should be overturned.
The MPAA and RIAA are railing against the dying of an artifical scarcity without providing adequate alternatives. This vacuum will not exist for an extended period of time... ever.
The "piracy" that you blame for the over-the-top actions of the MPAA and RIAA are merely symptoms of a mishandling of the basic problem.
Think of it this way. Imagine that digital media and copying already existed before music ever started. When the first recording company evolved out of the muck they would have had to fight an ENORMOUS battle to get people to stop copying their goods because everyone would already be doing such things as freely and naturally as breathing. And why? Because my breathing does not (realistically) detract from your capability to breathe.
The MPAA and RIAA are fighting tooth and nail to preserve a system which should go the way of the dinosaur, and since they have no better plan they're just pointing their fingers and blaming everyone else for their obsolence.
Think about it from the perspective of those that don't want to "pirate" things... they just want to eliminate the middlemen that have become unnecessary due to recent technology. These are not bad people. They are simply moving on.
Actually, you are describing _three_ movies in your sentence there.
I think it should go more like:
1) Some people walk haltingly towards a bad place.
2) Other people fight.
3) The first people make it to the bad place and throw a RING into a HOT FIRE! Take THAT, evil!
IANAL, but I know of at least two ways to get possible evidence to be not used in court. These are to show that the evidence is irrelevant or gathered illegally. I know there are probably other methods, but this is at least a start.
I think both are fine. The idea about irrelevant material is illustrated in, say, a murder trial where the prosecution is attempting to bring in negligence of car payments fifteen years before to show "bad character" or somesuch nonsense.
The other method (illegally obtained) should be obviously good (in an innocent until proven guilty society).
ITYM, "In a [fully] libertarian society [without tax-subsized medical programs as we have today] that legalizes heroin..."
Otherwise, the taxpayers _will_ be paying for those that do not have friends, as is the current case for (some) motorcyclists w/o helmets these days.
Please remember to point out as many of the excruciatingly simplistic details as possible when espousing libertarianism. Try and keep in mind that not only are there very few people who think about what life would be like in a libertarian environment, but that most of the others don't even know where to start (wrt thinking about it).
Cheers.

I am not amused by this guy calling this art. It's simply someone pointing out an error and then going one extra step to fix it.
Is building homes in Mexico art? Is handing out food to needy people art? These are all contributions to the world that could be "oversights" by the government. Millions of people do these things and don't ask for recognition.
It's just tiresome that there are people like this that expect something for nothing. And even if he only wants recognition, I'd give more recognition to some of the beautiful graffiti murals I see on my morning LA commute everyday before I gave it to this guy.

Since when did volunteerism become art?
This reminds me of Tad Williams' "involuntary interactive art" in the Otherland series where artists would stage auto accidents and murders.

(Since you are both the subjects of the sentence, you say "I". Were you on the other end of the verb, though, you would say "me". For example, "He shot my friend and me." You probably want to mention your friend first because it is polite.)
Then, you probably want to say something like: We were pissed because the company which was supposed to provide us with...

I would have given it a "funny" at least.
Why don't you write to them specifically as opposed to posting it here and hoping they see it?
I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
Just copy and paste to the first reasonable contact you see.
Why would you call yourself a Yank? I always had the impression that that was a somewhat derogatory term.
