I think it means that it will "pop" the hood up just a little so that when they land on it, there is some "give". I don't believe it means that the hood will open so wide that they'll be *eaten* by the car.
with at least 3 different cell phones in the past couple years, i've found a simple way to predict when a call is going to come in. i just set the cell by my computer monitor (crt), within a foot or two, and when there is activity the monitor display will start shaking and rolling (nothing bad, but still visible). if it's a call, then it will continue for about a second or two and then my phone will ring. if it's just a periodic check for voicemails etc., then it will only last for about half a second or so.
just set your phone by the monitor. if you see it shudder and shake for an extended period of time without the phone ringing, then you might be bugged.
A couple years ago I was trying to help my brother out with a Mac problem he was having. Since I've never owned one myself, I went into an IRC channel to see if anyone might have any advice. When I described the problem, I was told that I wasn't having that problem. Even though I was a bit irked at that point, I took a quick couple of screenshots and within about 60 seconds had posted them for them to examine...at which point I was told that I must have falsified said images. Though, I should say that I'm more inclined to believe that I see many elitist assholes on IRC in general.
It's quite simple to extract solitaire, minesweeper, etc. out of the cab files as most companies have a good ol' "i386" dir on the main drive. This is mostly just with Win2k though, XP doesn't seem to want the cd too often.
If you're talking about Alex Jones (which I think you are), you aren't doing him justice. If you read more about him maybe you would see how Michael Moore doesn't even scratch the surface of the things he talks about. Not that I like everything about Alex Jones, but believe me, his research is much more in-depth than Moore's.
OpenOffice.org 1.1 supported only 32,768 rows in spreadsheet documents, which caused Microsoft Excel interoperability issues. The new version now takes OpenOffice.org to the same level as Microsoft Excel.
Maybe Stephen Hawking will be called in to battle them...
The monster I create that kills players in one hit.
I'd rather do a line of it.

Just an FYI, this is the first article of Tom Yager's (author of TFA) I could find that mentioned the SCO fiasco:

He appears to have been against them from the beginning.
It is a known problem. Office apps export bad html (go figure). Bug listed here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10213 1

Mangband is pretty close (except for the "massively" part).
This is the only joke in the comments that elicited a laugh from me. Thank you.
Peein' your pants is the coolest!
I would say that you should quit while you're ahead but...
Looks like *someone* didn't think about the consequences of having a computer-literate girlfriend.

There is beauty hidden in your words, sir. Thank you.

Anyone got a torrent of this yet? I'll be either setting one up or helping seed.
