If I recall some numbers correctly, you burn calories rather quickly.
Heck, bowling, you burn ~200 calories/hour. About 550/hr playing hockey. Golfing (carrying clubs) it's near 400/hr. Touch/Flag football is about 550/hr. Heck, your even burn calories coaching, about 280/hr! Jogging is about 500/hr. Walking varies between 2-300/hr, depending on the speed and terrain.
A person, burns about 60-70/hr doing nothing.
It really doesn't take much effort to burn more calories than you take in considering doing nothing will burn ~1500 in a day. It's easier to burn them exercising than to remove them through watching what you eat. But a combination of the two is the simplest approach.
You can't remember more than one password? And honestly, isn't it easier to remember several phrase than several cryptic password like "41!ap*17ARK"?
I'm just suggesting, a simple solution to strong passwords that are also easy to remember.
As a side note, if there are three systems, keep the passwords the same, while they may get out of sync, you should only need to remember a couple at a time.
If IT hasn't bothered to integrate the systems to use a single login, they aren't going to bother checking that each system uses a different password.
Pick something you can remember. The simplest way to have mixed case, alpha numeric password with punctuation, is a sentence that you can remember. "Today, a coffee cost $1.99 + TAX!" Secure, simple to remember, and passes all the validation you want to throw at it.
Seriously, I don't care how crude or rudimentary it is, build a helicopter that actually flies, wow. With proper tools, and funding, he could go on to make some great innovations, unfortunately, like he said, his government doesn't recognize achievements, and he'll likely end up going elsewhere.
It would likely be more efficient because of better technology. Better surveilance techniques and intel. More accurate weapons. And better military tactics. You don't just throw large numbers of men at each other and see who comes out on top...
The article clearly shows that it does not run on a virtual machine.
The binary is converted to asm. Then the asm is converted to C with C assembly calls, then compiled into an EXE to be run at any time without a virtual machine.
If you try to stay in control, you will only set yourself up for disappointment. Let go. Focus on projects that will benefit others and show off your altruistic side. Your co-workers look up to you more than you think. Problem-solving discussions are fruitful -- as long as you don't forget to follow up your words with concrete action. This is a good time to take a second look at an idea you've previously discarded. You've got a new frame of reference and will be able to see farther down the road than most. Be sure to pay attention to financial responsibilities and investments
Yeah right, the day "Problem-solving discussions are fruitful" is the day hell freezes over.
That's whats so funny about this. If the linux community has this infringed code in it's source, then everyone can see it anyhow. So why would SCO want people to sign an NDA to see code that they allready can see?
Just point to the infringing code in the linux source...
I hope this doesn't come to Canada, I have enough trouble with the few red light/photo radar cameras giving me tickets. If they gave me one every single time I sped...I'd need to win the lottery...every day!
I honestly don't know a 17 year old who doesn't have some form of ID.
Right...because snickers bars are the staple of everyone's diet ... ok, maybe a large chunk of /.

My Dad is 50 and he plays games more than I do!
Heaven forbid any of us geeks build up some arm strength by doing more than pushing a mouse around!
If he's computer generated, wouldn't the problem be getting offline, not online?

Exactly, most people feel a sense of accomplishment building a go-cart or some other land or even water craft...but air! Damn...that's crazy.

Well...first we need a true-to-the-book adaptation of LotR
It was close, as will HHGG be close. But since DNA didn't even keep true to his original work, how can you criticize?
From what I've read most of the changes the new writer made came from DNA's own notes and ideas.
Why not make it capable of controlling robotic limbs, etc...things that are more useful than the volume of your tv?
...given your username I would have thought you liked to wear a green tunic and cap, carrying a sword...
They Killed Half-Life II. ...Those Bastards!
(yeah yeah, it's a southpark reference)
Seriously though, this sucks. I was looking forward to this game, it has allready had a delay and now it'll be even longer.
Damn hackers don't even wait for the game to be released before they start ruining it for the honest folks.
The best warning, and I swear this is what it said.
In the intructions to my game gear, along with, do not leave in direct sunlight, do not put near a magnet, etc, etc, it said "Do not break"
How's that for covering all your bases?
But this is a guy who nearly died from a pretzel...so you can hardly blame the segway if he fell.
If you continue to ride after the low battery alert, it's your own dumbass fault if you get hurt.
It's like saying it's Fords fault your engine died because you didn't check your oil.
Why would people mod this informative?

I like the sounds of that.

The next reality show...
"Hack the neighbors AIBO"
I don't burn red lights, it's the speed radar that goes with them that gets me.
... yeah, right. A few million in revenues allready and they just started a few months ago...
And when the flow of traffic is doing 15kph over the posted limit they make alot of money nabbing people.
But they insist it's not a cash grab
I hope this doesn't come to Canada, I have enough trouble with the few red light/photo radar cameras giving me tickets. If they gave me one every single time I sped...I'd need to win the lottery...every day!
