It will be a regular store that will be open 24/7 only at night there will be no on site personnel. It will only be open to people who have membership/owner cards. Since it is a cooperation, you pay a small amount to become a member/owner, so it is not like one of those "membership" cards you get at the register.

So I found a Pioneer radio and did a bit of googling to see what people says about it and I discovered that it had problems with IOS 11.

Now this radio was a new radio released in 2017 so one would assume that a update would fix it, but I have been unable to find any evidence that the issue have been resolved.(and I need a 1-din radio of which there are few options)

So apparently now your radio needs software updates to stay useful and keep functioning with the same feature set and I am guessing BMW wants money to keep programming and delivering software updates?

With 450 views pr day, it was around $0.3 to $0.5 pr day
So with only 4000 hours of viewing pr year, it matters little, I am guessing 100-200$ pr year.
Now I have disabled ads again, no need to bother people with that crap for a few $ that isn't going to make any difference.

Also, I am just doing it for fun, because it was a challenge for me to do and lean, and I am doing everything wrong, like not uploading every day or week, not sticking to one subject or style, varying quality and boring content of interest to no one.
And now I am going to take a break for a few months which means less views because people who have viewed a video, will not get recommended another one if you don't upload at least every week it seems as views on random videos goes down. :)

I have used it once, and they did get the exact location and were able to send ambulances to the accident, which made it easier because I only roughly knew where I was, like the approximate distance to city I was driving to and where I was coming from, but not the name of the road.
The operator did say that it was not always that it worked.

It can be a problem at night time when it is closed, then they sometimes accept my card at the pump and at other times, I can't fill up at all.
I know a few gas stations the places where I have been many times where I always could fill up, one is a Conoco.

  9. It has been annoying that I can't use my credit card at US gas stations since I have a foreign Mastercard and VISA and live in a 4 digit zip code. So they won't accept it at the pump.
I have heard that Shell have replaced all their readers with the ones that can read the chip because there were a demand that all gas stations updated their readers.
But now they have extended their deadline to 2020. :/ Oh well, I will in the states soon again so I will try to fill up at Shell to see if it works. :)

There were communication with our local HOA, a closed community "security" group, and my local MTB club/trail maintenance. But besides from that, it did nothing good for me.

One thing I would say if you HAD to have a facebook account. Don't have the app on you cell phone, just use login from a dedicated browser on your machine so you won't fall into the trap of checking the damn thing all the time. :)

I got my first macbook because I wanted to try something different than windows XP. it was configured in less time than I used to use just to get rid of bloatware on a new computer
When I got my iPhone 3s, it as amazing how easy it was to get it to work. Back then "smartphones" were a pain to configure and get to work, connected it to the Macbook, a few questions and it worked too, emails contacts etc synchronized. Of course today that seems trivial as it just works on all platforms(i assume), but back then it was not something you just did.

Today some of the features that were supposed to work between my iDevices, did not work like handoff, send SMS from computer etc , and it took a lot of rebooting, resetting, reinstalling etc to get it to work.

Latest issue was that I could not use my iPhone as a hotspot. It said I should contact my cell provider which in turn said I should call Apple. But, alas, I didn't have Apple care and there are no real Apple stores in the country.

So I waited for my next(company paid) iPhone to call Apple with the 90 day(iirc) included Apple support for getting help.

It turned out to be a configuration issue that got carried over between each new iPhone when I restored(reset network configuration in settings that also will make it forget wifi passwords etc).
In all fairness the apple support was quite good and they spent a lot of time ensuring me that they would help me until it was resolved when they handed me over to another supporter. I might even choose to pay for Apple care next time. I didn't know that they could remote control my iPhone screen when I called them, but it worked nicely.

So with all the features we have today, it seems they can't keep up with "it just works". :)

I'd rather not buy a new iMac. The old one still performs well with a external RAID cabinet for work files, but now I really hate that I have to replace everything to upgrade the machine.
Since there's no proper new workstation(and when it comes, I doubt that I can afford it), I have built a Hackintosh with a GTX1080 and a I7-7700K. It seems to render 3 times faster than the old one, all I need is a compatible bluetooth adapter(I use a mouse in one hand and magic trackpad with the other to scroll fast)
But there's a lot of time wasted getting it to boot the first time, and I'll bet that future updates will break the machine.
I am guessing in the long run, I will either use Premier Pro(had it not been for the subscription license) or perhaps DaVinci Resolve.
