If I am available, I will answer the phone if my colleagues call outside work hours. But when I am out on my bike in the forest I put it on silent and place the phone in my backpack, if I feel stressed I'll put it on silent when I go to bed. If they want a guarantee that I answer, sober and ready to help, I want to get paid to be on standby because it is so bloody taxing, even if the phone doesn't ring, I once were on 45 minutes standby for a year 24/7(45 minutes to start problem solving/login remote)
My boss knows this and agrees. The same goes for my other colleagues.:) In other words, we answer if we can, but there are no guarantees and that is accepted.
It all over Scandinavia, and it is part of the curse that the EU has become. Truck drivers have been replaced with cheap labour from eastern Europe with the blessing of the EU. - None of them cares about, or have time to cover their load. I see trucks every day that breaks the law and peppers the freeway with debris. On my way to work, I now avoid the main corridors where they drive and no longer do I need to have my windshield replaced every other year. The police of course are quite understaffed to take on all the problems the EU are bringing with it, so they can pretty much to as they please and these truck drivers don't give a fuck about all the damage they cause.
-To keep the price town they live in their trucks, often parked between jobs in places not equipped to handle overnight guests. One place across the street from my office comes to mind, where the shrubbery between roads have become a toilet filled with human feces. - There are some laws put in place to limit foreign drivers basically living in the trucks and doing only work inside the country but it has not effect it seems. - Also rest stops along the freeways are having problems with the massive amount of foreign trucks parked/camping. Some drive just south to germany only to return again across the border. And the rest stop down there have had problems with truckers camping, drinking, fighting.
I suppose it's a shitty life, enabled and approved by the EU.
I is really useful. At one time when I was editing a video, OSX updated FCP X and it broke my cuts / edits, so I is really nice that I can decide when I want to update so it isn't in the middle of a project. Even though it is just a hobby, it was still annoying.
I installed blackout roller shades in my bedroom. Took apart the smoke detector and put tape on the LED inside it. In the summer, light still comes trough the edges of the blackout roller shades so I have been thinking about a solution to avoid that, perhaps a some sort of rail they run in to get the last part. In the summer it doesn't get dark until 22:00 and gets light again at 05:00. And then there's the street lights out side.
I don't understand how people can sleep in those bedrooms with large windows without curtains at least not in summer time.
So will they have a Super Blue Tick? What I hear is that people with the blue tick, has extra features, such as filtering out tweets and replys from all the riff raff without the blue tick. Which might also explain why people with the wrong opinions have been stripped of their blue tick so the good people won't have to look at them.
I wonder if she has fired herself yet? Clearly such sexist comments will not stand!:D

I bought one of their mice for the office because left handed ones that I can use for hours without problems, are hard to find. When I got my new PC and needed to install drivers(because I don't do reverse buttons so I need to swap them in software for the mouse and not in windows), they now required me to logon to their "cloud" to install their drivers. Something I can't do at the office.
He has 1.3 million subscribers. I can't figure out if it is incompetence at YouTube or them being evil. I'm kinda thinking it's a combination. They certainly seem to be a lot of stupidity going on: https://mediaequalizer.com/mar...
Also, their latest 1000 subs, 4000hours limit, that won't affect all those channels who basically just copies something from other channels or TV news programs and repackage it or any of the other "bad actors".
As I briefly played with the monetization, I can say that there's a some of intersting things going on. For example, footage of driving down a road with a brief voice over were demonetized right after upload and then for some reason it was monetized a day later. (one could argue that it was to boring to be monitized in the first place:D) Others would get the demonetized and then changing keywords or descriptions would trigger a new automatic re-evaluation.
I just played with it for fun, had it been my job it would have been frustrating having to deal with.
They did that to me as well. Vague mails about someone posting something. With the app installed, I got the notification that someone posted someting, and it wasn't related to me at all. Clearly they wanted to "teach" me that I should check the damn thing every day. When I deleted the app, I got those mails about someone posting something. I ended up closing my account a year ago. Facebook was annoying, my investment in time and attention spent on Facebook didn't provide enough of value to my life.
I only boot my Windows gaming pc once a week, and I noticed just how much that windows telemetry accessed my NVME drive, it took minutes for it to finish whatever it were doing at boot up, reading hundreds of megabytes pr second. until I finally had enough and disabled it in registry. Although you never really know what they are doing, I just don't trust that machine.
I replaced my iPad Retina(the first with high-res display) with a Air as I were increasingly annoyed by the limitations of the iPad(lack of adblocker were one reason) and it have worked really well for me. A bit poor screen resolution but all in all great for couch surfing and traveling (it even had a SD-Card reader so I could offload video and pictures from my cameras onto a USB drive)
An upgrade have been needed for some time, but it looks like they are phasing out all the machines that makes sense to me and what they have, are becoming increasingly too expensive for me. I want a really lightweight machine for taking with me and a workstation for video editing. I think that my late 2013 iMac however might be the last one, I don't feel like I can keep up with the price tags anymore, but I really like FCPX. Have built a Hackintosh that renders video 3x faster than the old iMac. (I7-7700K and 1080GTX), although encoding is slower than the old iMac, as it refuses to offload encoding to the GPU on the Hackingtosh.
Trudeau does not accept freedom, it might be offensive to someone.
Sort of unsatisfying.
"Though clearly an incredible mind,"?
I see no evidence of that.

"full semi-automatic"
Do they get any actual work done? :D
Must be a touch workplace for people who just want to focus on working.

Has it ever been any good?

So if he was the King of Kong,
who was the Kong of Dong?
And where does Don King fit into all of this?
I will take a "funded by my mom, from my moms basement"!

I suppose since I buy 10yr old cars, I have some time before I have to deal with this crap. :D
I think they meant social media. Smartphones are more than social media.
