And then it will be really screwed up, go up 1 mile, then fly in a circle for 30 seconds, before winking into another dimension. All his instructions will be in pigeon english and have funky abbreviations. May god be with him.
griefing is what was FUN about MMO's!
Before Trammel in Ultima Online, griefing was the best entertainment. Killing / taunting / general mayhem. The whole point is that ITS NOT A REAL WORLD, you can do what you want there. Its a fantasy. We would get 4 - 5 people in the same room in real life and go on gank-fest's. Was beautiful. Back in the good'ol days
Once people stop coding their web sites using ActiveX and other IE only technologies, then there will be no reason not to switch. Until then, its a necessary evil.
I run into this with a sister company here. You need to engineer a situation that illustrates how the current low security causes your company to loose money, in front of the professors as well as your management, and then offer a solution of increasing security. When you get your management on board with increasing security, it will work. What rankles the professors is that someone lower on the totem pole is dictating to them what they can and cant do (its an ego thing). Take it to the next level, and they wont complain.:)
See, Java would only be server side, not on the client. Then google or page spidering programs would not be able to find any images when they search sub-folders, because java pushes the image to the browser on demand.
Dont forget that you have to handle your own taxes, your own health insurance, and get disability insurance too man. And why do you need a 401K, just save money yourself. You dont need a company to help you save money for retirement.:P
Yes, image quality does have everything to do with it. The original format is copyrighted, not a tiny thumbnail. At that point, it is not the original image, and google even takes you right to the site that contains the image! Its not google's fault that this webmaster is a moron...
ok, to fix it, simply place your image files in a folder not shared on the internet, and when the user requests it, have java read the file into memory, and stream it directly to the browser. I know I can do it with cold Fusion and Java (and I am currently), so I assume you could do it with php or asp too.
yes, of course, thats the logical step. Just because we are walking through millions of cell phone radiation, microwave radiation, we live under power lines, we have 802.11B, A, PCS, TV, FM, all sorts of particles streaming through us daily. We definitly need to get some electricity going through the air! Induction, woot! I can see the warning signs now... Or, better yet, it will be like those unknown drug commercials. May cause diaherra, vomiting, headaches, and in rare cases death... OK, but that rash is gone, woohoooo!...;)
You paid 589 for it??? Damn dood, just download it.... It works just as good, and includes everything the retail version would include (sans manual) It really ticks me off trying to buy books to learn Maya or 3D S Max too, they always run at least 50 bucks!
sall good. I went though my complete-geek stage, and now that I work w/ computers for a living, its not quite as appealing to sit in front of one 24/7. I still like the every-now-and-then LAN party that lasts 24+ hours, but its not the same as it was 8 years ago.:)
hahaha, please, get over yourself.:P I am happily married, love working in my woodshop, and still manage to take the 30 minutes it takes to queue up a torrent of a season of DS9 when I need too.
Just because you can't figure out what button to click to make it go, dont get all bitter on me.:P
simple: I have every episode of simpsons, south park, family guy, aqua teen, Star Trek TNG, Star Trek DS9, all at my fingertips. 2 clicks, from the comfort of my recliner, and I can watch any one of hundreds of TV shows, no commercials, pause when I need popcorn, and best of all its awesome quality and will never wear out or get scratches like a DVD.
they need to adapt the high voltage tank armour they have in the works. Just run enough current through the outside of the ship so that anything that touches it gets vaporized before it plows through.:)

Just give me a keyboard for the X-Box and I would be all set.
... is that I beat it in about 9 hours of gameplay. I guess I really expected it to take a lot longer than it did (and yes, I did side quests, maxed fame / karma, got up to 17 silver keys, etc, and opened all but 2 demon doors) While the character development was pretty kewl, I was disappointed at the end. I was left feeling like, 'Thats it???' Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed myself a ton while playing the game, and there are a ton of cool features scattered around, but overall I was disappointed.
Anyone know of a nice long RPG in the works? I remember playing Wizardry 7 for months before I was able to get all the way through it.
Cmon, Zero G man, as soon as you push forward, you rocket back with whatever force you pushed with! You would have to wrap em both in rubber banding.;)

Can you add in the senator's net worth, and then note when his vote went against his normal 'views', and possibly an increase in net worth?

wow, your spelling and grammer looks like it was done with this year's model of speech recognition...
Enough about warp, lets just all get de-contaminated with goo!
OK, take your top off...
why hide behind my opinion? I had no claim of downloading said software, only offered an alternative. :P
