  1. a rose by any other name.. on LinSpire LPhoto and LSongs: bring on the lawsuits! · · Score: 1

    (Disclaimer macintosh user)

Back in the 80's there was a TV show called Newhart, from of course Bob Newhart. The Character wrote how to manuals and DIY books. Anyway 'Bob' got sued once for stealing a book on how to do plumbing. In the end it was decided there were only a few reasonable ways to describe on how to tighten a pipe.

What am i getting at? If you bother to put some thought into it, there are really a few finite good ways to say organize a set of songs or wrangle your photos. Is this 'stealing', patent violation copyright infringement? Damned if I know IANAL, but at some point there is only one way to sort things by category.

I'll leave the rants against the patent office for another time.

If the AP is using linux then the linux people proper have to file their own injunction. Here the ipfitlers guys did it on the things they have copyright to.

To echo another post, im not sure how you can say that this company is 'supporting linux' when they dont give back as the GPL states they must. That isnt 'support' in any definition ive ever heard.

I recall several occasions in which i stayed home from school to watch PBS as school was way too boring.

    Hello,

That is an interesting question regarding what measures are in place to insure that back ups of your Nintendo software is not needed. The very media that Nintendo games are store on is what makes back ups unnecessary. Be it a Game Pak cartridge or a Game Disc for the Nintendo GameCube, when used correctly, there is no way that the information of the game would be changed or corrupted.

If a non-warranty problem were to occur, we can help you to repair or replace the game at a cost that is much lower than the cost of a brand new game.

One more thing, I wanted to let you know that we are inviting all of our consumers with Internet access to sign-up for our new My Nintendo membership program. As a member of this program, you can view the status of any order, repair, or subscription you set up with us. You can keep us up to date on your game preferences, the systems you own, and the type of information you want to receive via our exclusive e-mail newsletters. To become a registered member (which is free), go to www.nintendo.com and click on the "My Nintendo" icon located on the right-side of the screen.
