This is what happens when you have a society that can no longer make things that are productive and all become journalists and bloggers with nothing of use to write about. Nintendo did this to try to curb an issue they saw. Someone with no real news to report decided to try to make this news. Now it's an issue for no real reason. I'm not against reporting whatever you want, just noting how pathetic society is in its need to consume 'news' that really isn't.
Let's see. My daughter and her boyfriend make a combined ~115k/year, both being just graduates in accounting and are paying $2000 for a single bedroom in Boston and are doing just fine. This guy pays a whopping extra $12k in rent yet it making an extra 45k a year. I'm not seeing a huge issue with SV.
No, the purpose of AI should be that it can problem solve and adapt to a situation as well, or better than us. With an unfair reaction benefit it can actually problem solve worse, yet still win simply because it has an external advantage. That doesn't sound like a win for AI to me.
You would be wrong. Its on the manufacturing side real savings will occur. Understand they talk about ketchup because it does just this, gets people talking about their product. Ketchup doesn't matter in their plan other than to help secure funding. There are processes that may or may not be food related where 10+% of product is lost due to the viscosity of the product. In fact the purpose of this money raising is to invest in their CleanTanX product line.
Actually its not. The most savings could come in the manufacturing side that uses huge vats of ingredients. Those vats need to be cleaned and the losses are much larger than on the consumer end.
The vast majority of H1Bs work as cheap contractor labor doing day to day benign IT tasks. I so tire of SV trying to set policy when they aren't the norm.
The government should charge $125k/year, or some other number, for each one. The company gets to take the salary off of that. That said, the ramp up to y2k allowed IT salaries to also become unrealistic for what most of the industry does and is qualified to do. It does need to adjust.
They got paid while they were working. Look at the app, they were all guilty of trying to milk the system for cash for something that isn't worth the money. Some people are born rich and will always have money, some aren't. That's life.
Maybe you should be doing server maintenance on the actual machine that needs the maintenance? If you don't understand where your files actually reside then you should maybe be in another job.
Add in consoles, cell phones, extra skins and other dlc. And then merchandising. They are cleaning house with that acquisition. Not to mention they bought it oversees so paid for it with money that they couldn't bring back to shareholders without being taxed anyway. Whoever landed that deal deserved every stock option they gave him.
This actually makes sense. So many jobs have been saved that not as many people need to find new ones.

How many are watched all the way through? Or even more than 15s.

If she weren't a whore she'd be alive too. 27 year old out drunk and joy riding in the 45 year old bosses Tesla.

Ya, if you're taking a freshman level cs course.
Depends on whether shorter is time or distance.

Which is why its not the Feds who have doing this.
And how many of those companies are frothing at the mouth over Trumps proposed tax holiday that'll let them bring their money back?
Stupid for you, but useful for at least one other person. Even if its just their own entertainment.
The things this generation deems as important.

Just because you have reason doesn't make it any of your business.
IT application architect meet sanitation engineer.
Write your own web browser then.
What's the point of making it to the 1% if you can't send your kids to schools that others can't.
No correlation to this story and management deciding that they'll get better support from a bunch of $15/hr h1bs. But hey, you stuck it to the man.
Maybe you're the bad roommate. Be a better employee perhaps.
