    Normally a superior solution (like a bank card) would out phase another, but what is happening here is that the banks are working hard to to make cashless "fashionable modern".
    Swedish people hate to not be "modern" and embrace it without any second thought.
    There are shops not accepting cash and this is considered a "Good Thing".
    Most bank offices are "cashless"
    I have heard swedes argue that we must remove the cash, because it costs to much.
    Banks have done a good PR job.
    There needs to be better regulation for protecting against this.

    On my phone it came pre-installed.

    I did like this. I disabled FB, but kept messenger.(google it).
    I am still reachable for my "FB friends" and groupchats discussing things. Like quitting smoking step by step.
    Also look into Signal, the sound&video quality is actually the real selling point, encryption is bonus.

    Go to your local librarian, and spend the afternoon at the library and see what you like.
    Note that there is hardback comics, like Tintin etc.
    Superhero comics often require a certain knowledge of the backstory.

    They went after to manage all 3, cheap, good (enough) AND fast.
    After years of re-investing basically all profit in logistics they are hard to beat.
    By inviting other companies to their market place, they basically have all data of all other sellers.
    Then they take the high profit products and make Amazon copies, taking the profit.
    Amazon entering any market is the online equivalent of Walmart opening next door to your little shop.

    1. If you download something at home for "private use", the punishment will be fines and possibly UP TO MAXIMUM 2 years of prison.
    2. If you start a business where you make money of pirating content, you may go to prison 6 month UP TO MAXIMUM 6 years.

    You good sir might want to Reread The Friendly Article. The article clearly states that at an average the success rate is estimated to 93%.
    7% of the women report getting pregnant, so the number seems to fit very well

    Yes but you forget that while you have around 1million plane trips per day, you have 1 gazillion police encounters in the same time. And they only kill in 1 out of a gazillion encounters. So statically it is safer than planes, except for reality.

    Yeah - it doesn't seem like it will be sustainable.

    It is sustainable, since you have to be accepted, based solely on your grades, not your parents financial situation.
    That way the best strudents are accepted, which is good for the country.

    Yes, it is hard to get filthy rich, on the other hand it is hard to get really poor too. A middleway between GreedCapitalism and RedCommunism which happened to turn out quite well.

    It depends on the implementation.
    There is no Quality of Service connected to sending SMS,
    so if there is a flood of SMS coming,
    the operator normally caches them and send them at a conveniant time.
    Or just throw them, since the is no QoS connected.

    A little like when the postman gets tired of carrying your letters and throws some of them.

    We are seeing the exact same thing happening in old democratic West-country Italy with the "licence to blogg" discussion.
    Also remember that most, if not all, TV stations in Italy is privately owned.

    And speaking of democracies.
    Most networks in the US are controlled and loyal to either a party and/or some company.
    Political inconvenient news never really make it to your local FOX news cast for instance.

    At least the Russian Bear is a known evil,
    Uncle Sam seems so nice, but is basically just another bully from school,
    using force, fear and intimidation to get his way around.
    Tell me again the difference between
    Treblinka and Guantanamo,
