The fact that Rockstar has already given sony exclusive rights to the gta franchise until late 2004 is a sign that ps2 is gonna have at least one more mega hit.

it is the mega hits that make game consoles worth it. and the gta franchise makes it all worth is.

I meant that Windows XP is quite sufficent for the average user (eg. Mom et. She has only one or two windows open ever) i need to have stability. the fact that i have had to reboot at least 5 times within the past week is not a testament to good testing (again, i dont blame coders they have way too much on their hands already).

If this OS had been tested against the most demanding of users loads, i doubt we would be running a system that resembled windows today. I personally dont mind winxp, it is kinda purdy with a little tweaking, and with many third party apps you can get it to be more operable.

I would like to see windows progress beyond what it is now, where a single app can lock it so badly that it needs to have the power plug pulled.

Again, FreeBSD, i have crashed lots of apps, and the worst thing that has ever happened is that i get a huge core file being dumped onto my nearly empty home partition.

The most normal, and if i may say slowest in our classes are those who have been put onto the meds.

I dont think that the meds are a good idea for in school because teachers should simply learn to work around the inabilities of their kids. People work around the fact that johnny cannot deal with stresses in school all the time, why not deal with the fact that james cannot sit his freaking ass down and listen for half an hour.

Another thing is that io start projects and never keep up on them (See blog below). I get bored very easily and dont keep to a project for more than a couple hours at a time at most, and even then ui only usually du 15 minute frenzies of work.

The support group surpasses any linux on i ever tried to use, (FreeBSD forums) and they have helped me with any problem i have ever had.

FreeBSD is becoming both more powerful and easier to use as it ages, (I point to devfs) and kicks any linux distro for ease of use. the major features that to me seperate the men from the boys here are ...

    • Sysinstall- useless as you get better, but beautifull for the newb and install
    • Devfs- I dont know how i would live without it
    • The ports and packages system. I know debian systems have somthing simmilar, but i havent yet had the chance to use it. To me make install is a lot simpler than both rpms, and dpkgs.
    • just the stability and compatability. I run linux binarys regualary and all but a couple run even faset on my 166 fbsd machne than my friends 200 red hat.
