Their tireless efforts to provide an unusable toolkit and utilities throughout the lifecycle of SunOS and Solaris only proves their support for open source alternatives.
Blaster. Welchia. Beagle. MyDoom. Swen. Without the support of a microsoft monoculture, none of these important systems could have been developed, nor would they have enjoyed the popularity they do today.

SCO Lawyer: State your name and latest movie. Witness: Uhh....George Lucas, and Star Wars: Episode One, The Phantom Menace. SCO Lawyer: And do you think The Phantom Menace was as good a movie as Empire? Witness: Why certainly....I think it's the best movie I've made to date. SCO Lawyer: [to judge] Permission to treat this witness as hostile. Mr. Lucas, how do you explain that when in Star Wars Obi-Wan told Luke that when he met him, his father was a great pilot, but in Menace he's just a little boy? Witness: W-well my kids thought.... SCO Lawyer: And how come Obi-Wan tells Luke that Yoda is the Jedi that trained him, but in the movie, Liam Neeson trains Obi-Wan? Witness: Th-the Power of Myth.... SCO Lawyer: Isn't it true that you knew this was a bad movie?! That you wrote it over a weekend, but kept tellin' people that it was done for years? IBM Lawyer: Objection your honor! The pod-race was pretty cool. SCO Lawyer: May I remind the court that your honor has never been in a George Lucas movie? And you were age-appropriate for the Liam Neeson role. Judge: I'll allow it. SCO Lawyer: I want my eight bucks back! Witness hands him his money back. SCO Lawyer: Get him out of my sight! The defense now calls....Steven Spielberg.

In other news, a recent study shows that nine out of ten Popes have been Catholic.
Coming up, what bears are doing in your woods, right after this message from our sponsors.
That must represent an interesting maintenance problem. I heard somewhere that if your fiber doesn't get laid, your network may go down.

There already is a system for that. Trolls have their user names in green along with an "estimated troll rating".
It's right below the title of each post, and left of the date. Can't miss it.
Right. With that $892 per system, they could upgrade Office once, and maybe even chip in for the next version of Windows.
If you want to speculate on what may have influenced the character of Duke Nukem 3D, you may want to watch the movie Army of Darkness some time.
That doesn't make sense. It means that people would have to be reading the article _before_ commenting.
They couldn't call it "Triple-U" because there are three double-Us. "Sex-U" would be more appropriate.
As a new security measure, Microsoft should start including goatse links in all knowledge base articles.
Hmm. I wonder if I can patent that first...
Other possible reasons that Weber writes that way are "People Seem To Like It" and "It Helps Sell Books".
Rumours that "He Enjoys Writing That Kind Of Story" are still unproven.
Oh, yeah. That other President Bush announced in 1989 that the USA was going to Mars.
*looks around*
I don't see anybody on Mars. Do you?
By ratting out her friends to the RIAA, of course.
I think it was called Conan the Destroyer.

Er, to see the effects of this solar flare, you would be much happier looking at the Aurora Borealis. Light pollution is going to be a big concern.
