While not scientific, it does bring to light the issue that those of us with clueless girlfriends or wives, or clueless boyfriends or husbands, or siblings, parents, etc. need to be concerned with.
Your family knows you like games, but to surprise you they might not ask you but some knucklehead retail guy. Perhaps trolling around town for a good game shop, and letting your family know which one to go to, or even better using something like an Amazon wish list, is highly recommended.
Unfortunately we all have friends and family who don't game, and this is what the first line of defense for information will likely be for them.
Oh, and Iwata had best get some good info out to retail clerks if they'll ever change anyone's opinion on Nintendo...
The game sucks.
If they need to do a stupid marketing stunt like this, clearly the game is lacking.
Plus, they aren't addressing the problem, they're simply puting a few booth babes out of work for the week.
That just brought back some memories.
I had totally forgotten about the many hours I played this gem.
If only I could get it to run on my GBA SP...
(Now expecting a C64 emulator that runs on a GBA within a month or so...)
A wireless connection using a wire to determine the host?
Perhaps it just uses NETBIOS and LANMAN and runs WinMe?
Apparently I am in the minority

I've always thought that TechTV was crap, and G4 is one of my favorite channels. My main complaint about G4 was the repetition of episodes, but my new main complain is all of the crappy TechTV shows taking up the lineup. And I don't know what anyone sees in X-Play, it is a shoddy copy of G4's programming.
The first "crusade" was in 1095 and Muslims took Jerusalem in 638, so it was over 400 years difference.
The first "crusade" was also most likely a plan by Pope Urban II to stop assist Christian turks in what is now western Turkey who were at war with Muslim Turks in what is now eastern Turkey. And his assistance? Send "Christian" knights to retake Jerusalem. These "Christian" knights did this, but in the process murdered innocent women and children, and most likely did even worse. The only clear winner was Rome, who now had less knights to challenge their authority.
I love Straterra too, however I do have some side effects. If I take it first thing in the morning it makes me rather sick. At night it just gives me heart burn. Any-which-way it doesn't have the roller coaster effects that Ritalin did (Metadate to be exact), but it also doesn't have the appetite supressant effects either.
I'm only partially colorblind, and my daughter would yell the colors out until I switched to the correct gun, and it still took me 2 or 3 times.
She actually had done it throughout the entire last level, as the Metroids also had the color coding issue.
And GameCube Metroid Prime...
I had to have my daughter tell me the color that the final boss kept changing to, so I'd know what gun to shoot it with...
Pikmin 2 had in-game advertisement, and that's straight out of Nintendo...
I found this informative and humorous.

I'm 36. I own a GameCube and PS2.
Bought the GameCube immediately 'cause I knew the games would be there.
Waited on the PS2 until the price came down, and made sure there were enough good games to play.
And I bought both for myself, my folks didn't buy them for me.
(Of course my Mom did buy herself a GameCube too...)
And the qualifications for Booth Babe are?

What kind of weapons does a Master Chef need?
Butcher Knife?
Rotisserie?
Mandoline?

Blizzard's Diablo borrows heavily from Rogue/Hack/Nethack/Moria

I'd like to see Blaster Master [vgmuseum.com] ported to the GBA.
So eco-nonsense is better than Christian-nonsense?
Actual the camel jockey reference is rather ignorant.

Though I prefer the modified:
Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. Those who can't teach, coach.
Mind you, in the US we don't pay TV tax, so if we just watch a show every now and then, there's really little harm done.
However ads don't really bug me, since I pretty much only watch Food TV and G4TV, and quite enjoy their ads...
Super Mario World is a 2D Platformer I would hazard a guess that most all 2D side scrollers are categorized as shooters or platformers.
At least it's nostalgic for me: Acquire (now owned by Wizard's of the Coast via Avalon Hill
Except for the fact that it is first person and the door is a hexagon, this doesn't look at all like Metroid Prime.
Where? Puma has no mention of IntelliSync for Sidekick on their website, and the t-mobile site only provides a one-way sync.
The Grammar is proper for English English, just not American English. In England, companies are plural, not singular as in the US. Get a clue.

England also liked borrowing words from the places that it colonized. There are many an english word borrowed from Irish, Hindi, Arabic, etc.
