This is not a very good review, they have used kernel 2.6.8, 2.6.11 has many fixes upon previous releases in regards to RAID and md (software raid) drivers.
Lets get a review that uses 2.6.11, then lets see where we are.
If you do it w/ a friend, make sure you outline who does what, and who gets what. Make sure it is signed, and you have a witness.
I made this mistake hosting a lan w/ a friend. Bascally, he decided to keep the cash, I had nothing saying otherwise. The only payment I received was 8 copies of call of duty I could not sell(that came after the lan), and 2 eight port switches.
But today has been the fastest day of internet access for a while.... Must be becasue all those damn bandwidth hungry Microsoft SQL Servers are down. Hey, i'm not complaining, more bandwidth for me!
How many inventions that we take for granted today have been based on preexisitng technology? If the DMCA was in effect at those times, imagine how our lives may have been. Disney would also not have gotten off the ground, as it would have had to come up with original ideas (God forbid) Anyway, enough bitching, I leave with one last thought: "The past was the present and the future. The present builds upon this past, and the future builds upon the present as well as the past. If the past or the present is locked, then what are we to build upon, and what will the future in turn hold?"-- Gerald Normandin
He circumventing a digital device! How long until the company claims a DMCA infringement?
Seriously though, if the copyrights are still held, we are getting to ap oint when even doing hacks on devices we own will get us in jail. Hmmm, time to turn my gamebot into a robot controller, oh wait... nevermind
If the above article is indeed factual, the irony presented is simply amazing. Here Disney is, along with the big movie buisness, lobbying for laws that stop consumers from performing the same act performed here.Does anyone else see somethign wrong with this? Please stop it before I laugh myself into a heart attack, please stop it!
Honestly, Microsft, what are you try to achieve here? That would be my question... i would then rebut it with "What would you like on your Tombstone?"

Check out the google mirror... basically it states that redhat deved up similar themes for both sides... making both look the same. This release is also called "null"

I beleive he was making a reference to the closed source nature of the nvidia drivers...
I'm tired of this "Linux isnt ready for the desktop" bs...
To be honest with you, if Linux runs on any *Desktop* it's ready. It may not be ready for Grannies system, but it is running.
Granted, this comment is totally biased, but hell, I think freeBSD is also desktop-ready. (Linux, FreeBSD, are used on desktops here)

Wait... so they can crack the encryption?
Nothing is flawless, any form of encryption can be cracked.... all you need is time.
It would give the community a false sense of security. Just becasue id has DRm doesn't mean anything. Evidence should not be tampered with.... PERIOD
