What is the evidence for this: "It seems that Burger King thinks that malware-laden advertising infesting webpages is a perfectly wonderful idea (in principle, at least)" ?
Burger King is only doing what all corporations do naturally: use everything to enhance public opinion AND/OR profit. They owe nothing to Google....not yet anyway.
QUOTE: "But Garcia insisted the Democrats have the computer security situation well in hand, with the help of security specialists from Cisco Systems Inc. and Microsoft Corp."
Yeah, I trust them.
I find it highly unlikely that I would consider another future desktop additions. It would be more prudent to patch and hack on the labors that have already been provided ensuring both stability and security before adding other extensions. The whole damn planet has gone desktop happy.
I remember back in the day when I'd drop a few buckets of quaters at the arcade. I could probably retire if I had all those quarters back! Now with the increase in technology and such "large" games being condensed to compact disks one would almost think that arcades "should" be obsolete. The future of the industry has changed because the technology has changed. Much in the same way the courier business had to change it's entire model in the 80's due to the big boom of fax machines. While the arcade business may independantly suffer a loss it is the end consumer reaping the benefits. That is one of the things that makes technology so wonderful.
We see and understand patterns based on the amount of data we can digest (which has gone much further with computers). Knowing that you could always be one data set off defining a pattern makes you wonder if chaos exists at all, hence the replacement of words like chaos with words like "complex".
I have to wonder if the survey was biased. Their listed "best" provider has been among my worst in terms of experience. I can say that and not be biased; I work for them!

I hope you weren't implying the KJV was translated from the latin. The KJV was translated from the textus receptus.

that is why most online advertising consists of fees based on the 'per click' methodology?
"How can you charge for ads when it's nearly impossible to tell advertisers how many people will see them" --- These people use access logs??
Matthew 5 & 6 you say? You might reread that portion about the "light of the world" and "salt of the earth".
If you keep them to yourself, they're obviously not that strong.
C - can't W - walk A - afraid They didn't do it at Verizon and they won't do it with SBC. The union doesn't have the strike fund available.

If IPOD's battery only lasts 18 months, does microsoft plan on using the same tactics?
I've rebooted and I can't get up.

How long would consumers end up footing the said bill though?
Maybe now I can start using my myname@hotmail.com account for productive purposes again!
Why don't I trust that combination?
