    Since I am a programmer for that platform... It would be hard to program for windows using OS X or Linux.

    Os X is good for when I want to view my photos, edit a home movie, or browse the internet safely. I have several computers and I generally use the MAC for entertainment tasks (except games of course).

    IN Quebec 45$ gets you that but there is a 20 gig download / 10 gig upload cap before they start charging you more money. Unlimited bandwidth costs about 70$ a month.

    Then again, nobody really needs unlimited bandwidth unless they are downloading tons of hollywood movies and pirated software.

    It's tactics like this that will encourage the masses to quit paying for cable/sattelite tv, and begin getting all their shows from bittorrent (and other illicit p2p networks).

    If piracy is the only option to get commercial free tv, so be it.

    I have a fast laptop with a great battery, fully capable of playing games on a train, plane, or outside on my porch.

    Lugging CDs around is not an option. And wastes even more battery.

    My Toshiba laptop manual also says to do this... To drain the battery down to about 3% (the lowest it can go without the system going unstable), at least once a month.

    Maybe if the developers of jabber actually learned a thing or two about interface design more users would begin using their software instead of the insecure msn.

    If someone found someone's wallet and posted the info online they would get all hell for it.

    This is the same thing, even worse if the pictures are embarassing....

    Doesn't matter if you found it on the street, you could be setting yourself for hefty legal trouble.

    Windows 3.x would have NEVER gone anywhere without third-party support. That's one reason earlier versions failed.

    True, MS developers had a head start, but to say they withheld information on their OS is pure fallacy...

    There is a difference between caffeine addiction and caffeine ADDICTION. A coffee or two a day is fine, but when you are talking about several pots, there is a problem.

    A normal person can drinking a beer or two and call it a night, but an alchoholic will not be able to stop drinking once he has had even a drop of alchohol. If someone has a serious problem with caffeine, it's better for them to cut it out of their life.
