    Except as a rule they dont attack humans in the wild. Even the one documented attack was a non-fatal one.
    If that orca wanted to kill the human he wouldnt have let him go. I even suspect the killer whale mistook
    a surfer in a black wetsuit swimming among seals for a seal. You dont swim in the waters of northern california without one.

    Why dont orcas attack humans? 1) Orcas that attack humans would tend to be hunted down 2) Humans are not part of the regular diet
    of an orca.

    My guesthouse in bangkok had 16 mbps connection, free for guests. My internet connections in my hotels in Thailand and Cambodia were faster and cheaper than in the US (none of my hotels charged for internet [even the 4* had free internet]). The idea that hotels should be able nickel and dime us for internet is nuts.

    As an example a state university in florida will have 20-30000 students and a student government budget in the millions. A budget bigger than some small cities.

    Even relatively modern games like Civ 5 and WOW are quite happy with direct x 9.

    When he first started he was talking about the government spying on regular american people, and the public was sympathetic to him. Then instead of stopping there he started talking about the US spying on other countries. The problem there is nothing unconstitutional about the US spying overseas and revealing this did not protect americans. There is a big difference between whistleblowing about misconduct towards americans and leaking top secret memos regarding foreign intelligence operations.

    I liked Terminator 3 a) Because Arnold played the T-850 like an old obsolete model and it worked. b) They didnt wimp out with the ending...the nukes actually flew. c) Claire Danes.

    to Windows 7 this year.

    Windows 8 was just too much of a learning curve for them even if it were the greatest thing since sliced bread.
    Windows 7 is similar enough to XP that I can sit them down at it and not have to reteach them everything. I can even make it look
    like XP If I really need to. I cant do that with 8 unless I buy add-ons.

      Also Windows 7 pro includes an XP virtual machine...so why bother with 8?

    Windows 7 is barely 3 years old its not like its going anywhere anytime soon.

    Isnt that much...we spent a trillion dollars on the war in iraq we spent another trillion on stimulus. Imagine if we had spent a trillion rebuilding all our roads, rails, schools, hospitals and ports. Efficiency in infrastructure adds to long term economic growth which increases tax revenue.

    A china that is committed to trading with the world is not waging war. This is about shipping routes from China to Europe bypassing unstable africa and an even more unstable middle east. Its also about ships such as the maersk Triple E class 165,000 tons which is too big for any US port to handle but can be easily handled by ports in china and europe. This would shock americans but the Chinese of 700 years had ships bigger than any in Europe that could travel farther and were more advanced with magnetic compasses and watertight compartments.

    Into a profession,so every stupid thing gets protested making protests less useful and attractive and less compelling stories to the media.

    If you really want to make a difference write a letter...not an email or phone to your congressman or senator and identify yourself as a constituent.

    Make your protests local , 500 people protesting at a congressmans office is way more effective than 50,000 in DC.

    Likewise if it would be illegal to send a guy in a helicopter to fly over my house , it should be illegal to send a drone.

    Thats a bit egotistical. The co2 being pumped out will only continue until a massive dieoff because the weather becomes too hot for human food crops and nature will right itself in 10 or 20 thousand years with a lot less people on it. Overpopulation and global warming solved...the hard way.
