You might care if you worked at Microsoft and had to be laid off because of this lawsuit. You can argue that this sort of thing only takes funds away from the executives. Unfortunetly it is the people with the low paying jobs that will be suffering the effects of this the most.
In order for this company to compete they will have to start offering some low prices on cars. Somehow I don't see these guys competing with the big auto companies.
Shouldn't the price come down if they remove the fan instead of sacrificing performance and reliability whilst keeping the price the same and calling it a feature.
Does anybody remember the article on Slashdot a while ago? It said that it costs more money to use an open source OS in business and schools because of teaching and support costs are much higher. I'm all for open source but I think this might play a big factor in deciding which is more cost efficient. If the cost turns out to be the same in the long run then companies will want to stick with what they are familiar with and people will continue to use Windows.

I like how things have turned out. Kazaa is just as good as Napster was at getting music but you can do so much more. When you throw in video to the mix I would prefer Kazaa over Napster anyday.
