Yes, that should also be on Apples radar and be dealt with in the same manner.. Otherwise they are just covering their ass... ( or at least trying to )
Unauthorized reprint of a manual. A take down notice due to valid infringement? Not much to see here.. Sounds to me like someone wants to bash apple and is grasping at straws to do it.
They can be 'shut down' too.. Sue Sourceforge and prohibit them from hosting it ( or even put them out of business sinc ethey support all that software that 'supports terrorists'. Sure, a few will have it but the average guy wont be able to find it, which is who all these 'attacks' are for anyway.
While the guy sounds like a nut case, i would like to point out that a *real* UFO classification only means that its unidentified, not that its a little green man buzzing around. US Military UFOs are not that uncommon. Remember the stealth fighter was classified as a UFO until we knew what it was and no alien tech there. just a lot of hard work from us humans.
Also, if you consider that technically sunlight is 'free' energy, and if you take into account the 'cost' of equipment to harvest it, the basic concept of 'free' energy sources isn't really that odd.
"Free speech" relates to speaking in public without fear of governmental retribution, not hiding your speech in layers of encryption, removing it from the public.
Encryption between 2 private parties is a privacy issue, not a free speech issue.
While i happen to agree that its wrong to restrict our speech, the cause for encryption will fail in court using that as the basis for its defence.
Ummm if they have ruled that its *required* to support snooping, if you use encryption ( and get caught ) it would/could be considered obstruction of justice.
Wont matter what you are saying, the fact you encrypted is enough to get you arrested.
No thanks. Looked cute until i got to that point in its specs.
Didnt see a price either other then 'subject to change'.. Change from what?
And in a few years that becomes: " content we ( the industry/government) deem acceptable for you to view "
and twice the DRM.
Oh, and lets get the consumer to buy more stuff for no reason other then we want the money.
Why do you say its obvious?
In this day and age, if i am an attorney, then i would avoid making any statemens that could be construed as legal advice on a forum such as this.
Not saying i am or not, or that i have had education in the field or not. Thats up for you to determine.

"Please discuss with reference to your legal education and bar admissions."
Sorry, none of your business.
I totally agree on that point, however.
one can only imagine what the p2p world would be like if they hadnt gone after Napster and brought the concept to the attention of the masses.
Until then, few of us even knew about the idea, and few outside the hardcore groups discussed compression of multimedia.. ( mp3, etc )

This just might cause another big boom .. Stick your finger in the dike, eventually it will burst..
Lets hope they lose this round.

Dont hold your breath for one. No one has the balls for it. ( and i dont blame them, with the way things work now )
It is still a hit against data freedom, and yet another win for the 'opressive movement' and 'assumed guilt'.
Long live the PowerPC

In 300 years, that might only serve to cause people to be more curious what is down there.
We have no idea what the world will be like in 300 years.
Beacuse Google has the $ to pony up. And is easier to find since they dont hide.
No kidding that an electric motor responds faster.
However, over the long haul the gas engine will eat the electric.
This also isnt even close to being 'news'. 'Info' for the slow ones around here perhaps, but not news.

And i thought they were such a 'nice' company that was being unfarily attacked, and they wanted to help ban software patents..
Of course they are just like everyone else.. Suckers
You pay for cable tv? You subscribe to a magazine or news paper?
Amercians are used to it.. I doubt enough would boycott buying the ad laced prodcut to make a difference.
But if you decide OSX is a better choice for you, how did you get 'taken'?
But who is going to fund that study, and pay for it to be released to the masses?
