    Total tax is closer to 60% when you include things such as fuel, food, clothes.. etc..

    Its really sick what is being done to us, and not enough people care to stop it. And if you speak to your 'representatives', they dont listen, and just increase the rates.. or shuffle it around so its harder to notice.

    This is sort of garbage is why this country was created in the first place.

    DVD's are permanent ( well for the most part, I realize they will degrade in time ) but a 'service' is not. You end up continually paying to watch your stuff.

    Your DVR's HD crashes.. You may be screwed, especially if you recorded/bought/leased some obscure item

    Just bought a 256mb flash, with am/fm/tv for under 100 last month. Integrated USB port, and about the size of a fat but short magic marker..

    Has a SD slot to boot.

    Doesnt beat my Ipod, but its rugged AND IT HAS A F-ING RADIO ( do you hear that apple? )

    'cable' is out for $ like everyone else. And its not you that it footing the bill for the show, its the adverts.. the amount that the viewers contribute is minor..

    Personally i dont approve of the practices of todays businesses. But i also know that its how thing work. Screw the customer, screw the competition. Make as much $ as you can and forget anything else.
