Go back and dust off your season one DVD set of Stargate SG-1. Compare those characters to the characters of today's episodes, completely different. Back then they were the stereotypical, cookie cutter, typecasts. It took a couple of seasons before the actors found their nitch.
Also, if you looked back when The Next Generation aired, many of the same people said the same things about that show.
You didn't read the article. The sender is only scamming the buyer after he found out that the buyer was using a fraudulant escrow service, to scam him.
This was just a rumor from my Netware guru friends, but I believe when version 7.0 of Netware comes out they will have an option of using a Netware or Linux Kernel. Then after 7.0 will be linux only.
Novell just released there Nterprise Linux Services, which gives a lot of the current functionality of Netware on Linux
I agree, but to be honest how many people trully know how a toaster works and all the lingo to go with it??? Resistors, thermostats, AC power, Voltage , watts, etc.
People should not need to know the lingo, computers should be sold on what is it used for, this one is for games, one for word processing, one for...whatever.
You have a good point. But you also have one flaw, you are assuming that WEP was enabled on this router. Most "average users" don't know or care what WEP is.
Will apple users have to purchase all new software (again..ala OS X) to get a speed increase? Also, will the processor run in native or emulation 32bit mode?
How do the artists feel??

I wonder what the pricing breakdown per song for iTunes is. What percentages are going to the Record Industry and the Artists? Since there is no cost of the physical "CD", besides advertising, promotions, etc.
I don't think that this is necessarily a solution for the artists, but a solution for the consumers. The RIAA always talkes about how it's artists are loosing money because of P2P. I hope whatever "tax" that Apple has to pay the record industry to pay for the copyright use of these songs, that a greater percentage goes to the artist.
Well, that's not far from the truth. I have done some surface mount repair and we used hot air guns to heat the solder. I would never use a soldering iron to do that, it's next to impossible to heat all those pins with an iron.
Also, this version of vnc supports viewing of the primary desktop. Whenever vncserver is run it creates a new X and KDE process. The new version allows sharing of your primary desktop (like vnc for windows), the "server" or user asking for help sees the mouse moving, etc.

Ya and you don't need to use contraception when having sex.
I agree with most of you posts. I have installed many different distros of linux and it is just as "easy" as Windows.
OT comment to list item number 3. I would check out those computers that are crashing on a regular basis... I 'dout that this is a Windows stability issue, but a third party software/driver problem or hardware.
I WAS an A+ tech fixing Toshiba laptops also, even "Toshiba" cerified. The major computer company I worked for sold more Toshibas that any other laptop, so of course we fix mostly Toshibas. That does not mean there junk. And the fail three times thing is mis-leading. A hard drive "fails" once, it's bad, they replace the hard drive. All laptop manufactures have some type of policy on this. At least you can get parts for Toshibas, try to get a part for a Sony (under warrenty)!
I have installed Lindows on 2 different computers, virtual pc and an athalon based system. The install was eaiser than Windows,no prompts except for password and computer name. I have gotten M$ Office to install and run with IE 5.5. It's an interesting concept.
Lets see... A noisy "cheap" looking computer sitting next to my expensive home stereo. I have one of these and it is great, yes it does have some issues. But the positives outweigh the negatives. This is the only solution out there like this and it is ahead of its time. It also supports wav and wma formats.
The can be done with a $20 radio transmiter from the "rat shack". You just have to tell people what station your on.
So when the user creates there password it will be: "This is my passphrase" instead of "password"

FYI... "Stone: ZenWorks is a great software-distribution package. We can now cover Windows, Linux and NetWare with it." Your answer is in the article.

Be easier to get a new nic and sound card. I recommend (for cheep) a DLINK NIC ($10) and any SB card.
