    SlashDot costs a couple of million? What for? Hardware? Bandwidth? Katz?

    Load the ads, but dont look at them? Whats the point in that? Thats like the lame sites which say `click on my sponsors ads`. Why? They want sales, proof that it works...not proof that only 0.01% of viewers buy something!

    I dont complain about them all the time, since i block them. Nice and fast, that way, and no adverts for foreign companies which are of no interest or use to me.

    I dont get it. My tv cost me £120, contains a video recorder and teletext. Why would i want to spend loads more? Whats worth watching on tv anyway? I just dont understand these people who spend $,000`s on 5.1 sound and huge flat screens etc. What do you DO with them? Just watch fucking star wars dvds over and over? Unbelievable!

    I guess it wouldnt be too stressful for every linux based company to have 1 single windows machine, set up to accept .doc files and return them as .rtf,.txt etc.
