It's like having a pool table. Do you need more pool tables because you get bored of the old one?
I'm still replaying Zelda once in a while. I will always play Bomberman with my wife (and eventually my son) for the rest of my life.
A few geat games is all you need.
I will never tire of re-watching LoTR, Braveheart, Indiana Jones, The Princess Bride and Elvis Gratton. That's 5 movies. (technically 10, but it's really 5 tales).
The reason the SNES had "so many great games" is that nintendo 'allowed' third parties to create them.
If tomorrow I decide to set up shop and make PS2 games and market them, sony's lawyers are going to kick me so hard my shop will end up in another dimension.
And what stands out on that blue/white page?orange

Funny, the RSS feed link really really stands out on that page.
Unfortunately, it wouldn't work. These formats are too slow for the GBA.
For the flash to be compatible with the hardware, you'd need to look at the pro- version of these cards at usually 10 times the price. (hence a 32MB / 256Mb flash card would be around 70 us$, where a 512MB SD would be around the same price)
I think one type is NAND and the other is NOR, but I forget which is which.
I doubt the general concept of MMORPG would work in the Lovecraft universe. The average life of our adventurers in our games would be around 1-2 game sessions. People who have seen The Sign don't tend to have long life expectancy.
And I can see what threadmilling would be like. Spending 3-4 hours in a library looking for a book.. Or 6 months in the asylum recovering a bit of sanity.
I think this is the point MMORPGs are missing from Paper and pen RPGs. Trivial/boring tasks can be played with a single roll of dice in a few seconds.
Wrong. That original 90% was including the 1 person out of 10 who doesn't watch TV. So 90% will reduce the amount of TV they watch that week. For the remaining 10%, it's business as usual.
Someone who already has 0 hours of tv watching per week can't get in the "negative" amount of hours for that week.
This article really illuminates nothing, and isn't anything more than a rant about someone who was disappointed with their CRPG purchase. So?
Actually, this article seems to be a push for his RPG Standards Compliance system. This article is a bait-like makteting device masquarading as an analysis. It's a good move to get the visibility needed.
And let's not forget that D&D breeds it's own version of the apologist, the 'why things work the way they do no matter how fucking stupid the rules look on their face' guy.
Wrong. The first rule in D&D is to have fun. The second rule in D&D is that the DM's word is final.
now if you really want to discuss with someone about where this or that rule fails, go ask agimimnon. I'm sure he cares.
It's all a question of using the right tool for the job. I don't think the 3.5 D20 system should be used for CRPGs. I don't thing any pen and paper should be directly translated to computer. Except Phoenix. 3 hours of computation to simulate one minute of combat. But you after that you knew that the bullet entered the ribcage between the 4th and 5th ribs, grazed the heart, came out at a 10 degree angle and broke one rib in the process. But that's overkill.
So do us a favor and next time you DM, kill the stupid rules and have fun. 3rd ed was released at the same time W40k released their new ruleset. Each page in W40k had at least one inconsistency that was disproved somewhere else in the book. Can't say the same about 3rd ed.
Apparently, it wasn't because the world was round or flat. The church did not care about that.
He was an enemy of the church because he questionned and argued against transubstanciation in a previous book. (wine becoming blood and bread becoming flesh of the christ) So conspiracy theorists say that he was burned because of trying to destroy a dogma, not because he was saying the earth was round.
We were camping for a big medieval event and of course, when you're out in the woods, outer space or a spiritual trip, some guy always says "what if we came back to civilisation and it was gone, or something really big happened?" "What if we came back and they changed the color of oreo cookies?"
Of course, none of these things happend, but it was pretty freaky to see that power was out for a few days.
300$ is the regular cost of a phone. Companies bring that down with strict (faustian?) contracts. They used to recuperate the cost over 1-2 years of subscription. The NGage sold without a contract, right? Or was that 300$ with contract from a telco?
Pizza overflow == food fight?
Bingo.
Must Have for DC:
Shenmue
Skies of Arkadia
DOA
Hello Kitty weird Cake-Puzzle game
oops. They're all on Xbox now.
I guess I don't need it anymore.
Of course, they were released before those three new consoles (GC, Xbox and PS2) so the best games were picked up and ported.
I'm still waiting to see a translation of the Atelier Marie games.. any of them..
Why would you need 10 games if they're the best?

Is there a decent RSS reader for IE?

yeah, and I brought it home and beat it.
The end guy was really hard.
how to get a song out of your head.
Sing another song, more annoying and invasive.
It'll repel the first.
Good countersong for this one:
Badger badger...
Or worse yet, go with "the sound of music"
Always a killer.
But it's not reduced. It's the same!
0 = 0
If it was reduced, it would be less.
X 0 and the only time this holds true, is if X is negative.
And that would be like.. spewing out TV images from your eyes, which would be neat. Except when you want to sleep.
Wrong.

He's just beta testing his new gadget on a smaller scale.
Don't know about what they think there, but he's probably ready to release 1.0 in the wild.
Eliza Dushku
She's got training, and she's got the attitude.
Is Tru Calling any good?
Hey! Modern Vampires was good!
Plus he gets to play with Udo Kier.
That's a plus.
I'm still shocked by the DDR thing.
"What? Dance Dance Revolution on Unix? Why would they play that in Starship Trooper 2?"
He's what happen for my group.

(based on a true story)

now.. DDR on the PSP.. That would be funny with a touchscreen.
Put your psp on the floor and repeatedly jump on it.
Works if your a 7 year old japanese girl.
Live-Action FROGGER
Stephen King. For the record, he did a wonderful job of converting Lars von Trier's Kingdom Hospital to the american audience.
I saw both, I still prefer the orginal, but I like the flavor of the King's Kingdom Hospital, even if it's a mouthful.
Think old.
Atari and stuff.
Basically, pre-ergonomical consoles.
Temple of Elemental Evil should be cracked open as it is the closest thing to pen&paper I've seen so far.
That would be my solution for fight resolution only, other aspects of the game would require another interface.
Actually, they are probably still waiting for submissions.
You have until may 4th.
Didn't go see anything last summer. We'll see about this one. Are they still going to show the movies at Concordia? How was it?
